So, using more than one instance with the same ini-file might lead to a lot of confusion by itself...

Yes i understood that, so that in this case it's important to choose the "Save manually" option (and a button in toolbar)
and not save on exit :-)

i would like to know if, via a script, it could be possible to put a limitation for going up to a specific parent folder, as like as X:\

Well, scripts are a good way.... bit o think that the sound feature could be something good if it would be implemanted in the main configuration dialog.
i believe that it could be easy to add in the code ?

Yes, i have read in the help file yesterday about this, and this is a feature :-)
And the fact that a feature in a software is personnalisable is the most important thing, so that everybody is satisfied.
