Re: TreeExpansionIcon
Not to be pointlessly critical, but none of the icons are great. -Plus minus and plus minus flat are huge (using Win 7 125% resolution), distracting and, in MT, dark. -Triangle improves but too dark in both reg and M tree, and misses opportunity to use color for feedback. -Square, corner, and diamon...

Re: mouse-down blow up enhancment
. . So you say it should honor the settings at the bottom of Configuration / Thumbnails? Honestly, I forgot those "on right mouse down" options were there, and have never used them. I was expecting a right-click on an icon to bring up the context menu (rather than the blow-up), just as ha...

Re: mouse-down blow up enhancment
v14.40.0306 works very well. Only issue I see is the right-mouse-down behaves same as left-mouse-down, i.e. the blow-up. Doesn't produce right-mouse-down context menu as for thumbs, as stated in 0305 beta notes. 0305 was the same.

Re: mouse-down blow up enhancment
Brilliant! Love it. I hoped the idea would nag at you until you thought of a solution.;-) Thanks for taking the time to make it work. And all I accomplished today was mowing the lawn. I agree w/ the prev post that if possible a quick click on a folder/icon should still select (just cause it would co...

Re: mouse-down blow up enhancment
Thanks for the suggestions of an alternative. Unfortunately, I think the custom col approach is out of reach for me and other casual to moderate users. And, mouse-down blow up using icons in list & other views seems like it would be very useful to all XY users, not just heavy users with scriptin...

mouse-down blow up enhancment
Would it be possible to have the Mouse Down Blow Up of images work not only in thumbnail view but in any view (for example, click-holding on the tiny icon to the left of the file name in details view activates the blow-up)? I would personally find it very useful to be able to get a quick preview of ...

Re: TreeExpansionIcon
The triangles are brilliant. Don't know how they're drawn or if it would be doable, but an idea for mini-tree, using open/white triangles, follows. Actually, I think this too subtle (as the original blue "+" method seems as well), but may spark an idea. Also, what about separately definabl...

Yes, it's "xys". Typo in post; I'll try to edit. Just tried w/ v14.40.0003. Still no coffee :-Ohighend wrote:You meaninstead ofcoffee.xys, right?coffee.sys

Startup script doesn't run anymore after v.14
On its own, this is silly and a non-issue. I mention it ONLY in case it reveals some underlying issue that might actually matter. When I first got XY years ago I was entertained by the coffee feature to the point that I made an external script called coffee.xys coffee.sys which contains: makecoffee;...

Re: Clickable breadcrumbs.
Have you considered putting the click-able breadcrumbs on the tabs themselves to save space? You mean on the pane itself (since a tab is something different and I can not imagine where it could be put on a tab)? Yes, he intends to put it on pane. You could have found that .. I mean on the tab(s) at...

Re: Add an 'x' inside the address bar to clear Non-Path Stuf
I just click the "back" btn, but I don't do much fancy stuff, so maybe I'm missing something.. Now, I wouldn't mind being able to put the back btn at the left of the location bar, as have done in firefox..

Re: Manual Sorting in Win7 Explorer
For what it's worth: I use ACDSee regularly, which has a good implementation of custom sorting. I don't use it often, but when I do I greatly appreciate it. I never use it to maintain a persistent custom sort between visits to a folder. I have only used it to 1) temporarily place image thumbs togeth...

Re: [.not. New w/ 11.10.0000--] customize toolbar crash
Well, this is really perplexing. Tried in safe mode and "customize toolbar" still crashes XY, although it pauses for several seconds then crashes silently instead of crashing right away with "XY.. has stopped working" as in normal mode. Haven't done any Windows updates or changed...
