Re: Feature request: application start/exit-time script
Well, later. (sorry) New version, new chance? (We are now on 16.00) I mean I personally have no huge stress regarding this feature, but I am having pitty with Sammay always having to bump alone. Especially since it actually was "promised" already: Yeah, maybe not even that bad. ;) I espec...

Ahh, yes, I have that checked...admin wrote:If this is ticked I have no full control over the pointer, and it will indeed show a plus sign on right-drag:

Re: Q: scroll specific tree-item into view?
So far, although not official yet, die paper folder only is shown in the tree (if added by SC). Any virtual subfolder(-links) inside the paper folder are not shown in the tree (as sub-nodes of the paper-folder). Is this planned to come, or will the paper folder never have any sub-nodes in the tree? ...

Q: scroll specific tree-item into view?
Scroll specific tree-item into view? Is it already possible by relatively easy means? (out-of-the-box or scripting does not matter) I could not find it but before I wrap my brain around the possibilities of a scripting-construct-workaround, I thought I ask whether I overlooked something or not. Thx ...

Re: INCLUDing User Functions in single line scripts
Both nice! Sammay, I hope you don't mind if I state the obvious: For your own include files, if you add the eval(); as the last line in each include file, you can simply write ::load "inc\MyFun.xyi"; echo MyFun('joy'); Just thinking that one-liners might be written "on the fly" a...

Re: Problem with Networked Drive Accessibility in XYplorer
The only time my XY installation cannot find network-paths is when I run XY with administrator rights.
Running it "normal" (without admin rights) I had no problem so far.

Re: Word Document Preview
My MS office is 32bit although my computer is 64. Let me rethink that... Maybe MS Office always installs the 64-bit version of iFilters and shell-stuff on a 64 bit OS (regardless of the bitness of Office itself). I think that was it. (Searching the forum will also give info about it.) So its partly...

Re: Word Document Preview
The developer is on vacation right now. (Its already the 3rd week I think, so he should be back soon if things are like normal.)
As it seems to be a one-man show there is nobody else to give official suport right now.
But yes, the customer service has its ups and downs.

Re: Word Document Preview
Ok, normally this is Floating Preview. But, if the file is not supported by FP (which may depend on the viewpoint - my docx files stay in FP and do so in beautiful black) then it automatically opens in Quick File View. I don't think Quick File View supports "decoding" of word files. In cas...

Re: Word Document Preview
Are you talking about the preview tab in the info panel? If yes, then uncheck *.doc(x) in the configuration -> previewed formats -> text files and check it in -> web & office files it should display the word document now in a kind of word-embedded-view. disadvantage: slow how to display only pla...
