The only difference that I can see is that the one XY is installed.
The 2nd XY is portable (where CC don't work).

Re: Do I have to enable custom columns?
I set them up, e.g. the pre-defined MD5 column, triggered upon click. When I click on the column for an item, on the one machine it displays the MD5 value, on the other machine nothing happens. So, since I also don't remember activating custom columns on my first machine, they should just work, righ...

Do I have to enable custom columns?
Hello all,
Do I have to enable custom columns?
On my older installation of XY, custom columns work as expected.
But on my more recent XY on a different machine, they just don't work, as it seems.
Regards, me

Re: Wheel scroll lines "0" or "" (empty)
BTW, Don, it seems that I am now at an age where an icon size of 16x16 seems too small and 32x32 too big. I am perfectly happy with using the Details with Thumbs #1 view as described above, in order to make it fit to my needs, but it only offers size 16 and then as the next size 32 for thumbs. I kno...

Re: Wheel scroll lines "0" or "" (empty)
Ok, I was able to test it again. I had the list set to Details with Thumbnails #1 view (and switching Icons off and making the Thumbs 32x16), besides I was not aware of the scroll-value for thumb views which seems to also apply to Details with Thumbs #1 view. Summary: All works correctly, once one u...

Re: Wheel scroll lines "0" or "" (empty)
Ok, thx, for testing.
I learned something. Did not read the help up to the point of the 2nd number. Should not be connected, though, but interesting.

Wheel scroll lines "0" or "" (empty)
Hi all, can someone please check whether Configuration | General | Menus, Mouse, Usability | Usability | Wheel scroll lines works with "0" and "" (empty). The help says that in that case XY should use the system value. I had the system on 3 and that setting on empty and XY still ...

Re: Update the current list when program is activated
I also notice that the auto refresh does not always work 100 % of the time. I would say, it works >95 %, though. If it fails, then I think it mostly fails in OneDrive folders. Anyway, as you indicate yourself, my life experience also tells me that XY is not the only software that sometimes struggles...

[planned] [AHK2] MButton-Drag-and-Scroll for XY Lists (and partly other scrollable content)
coming soon planned :D UPDATE 231207: I probably posted this a bit too early. I thought I was 80 % there. Turns out, the last 20 % are more complicated than I thought, or also maybe I want too much. Anyway, I found out that not all programs accept the same "API" details of how a "not...

Re: Rounded background colors also for Labels?
Yes, you must be right, but the label should be on top of the grid line or else, fully inside the column.

Re: MISCELLANEOUS IDEAS PANEL LIST
Interesting points to consider.
However, are you aware of the toolbar button "Hide Folders in List"?
And I am not sure what you mean in point 1.4.

Re: Is it possible to show OneDrive file status?
Nice.
I noticed one other thing. In dark mode, the rounded corners are much more visible (as are the color filters).
I will just switch the work computer to dark mode as well. Then that should take care of that.

Re: Rounded background colors also for Labels?
I pimped the liner notes: https://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic.php?p=216074#p216074 So when you set it to max (100) you get a half circle on the left and right side of the box (if it has landscape ratio). Nice. One tiny issue: It seems that the radius of the label sometimes is cut off on the lab...
