Catalog Icons.
With recent enhancement I'm personally starting to look at the catalog as more than just a convenient place for shortcuts; Its starting to look like quite the place to put items that would function more like user buttons. For that reason I would like to suggest the ability to select the icons for ca...

Re: Tags are missing when backing up files. How to solve?
Thats a puzzler since the tags in XYplorer aren't part of the file but are kept in a separate database. Perhaps an option to export/import tags for files in current directory or current and down (to subfolders of current). In any case you'll have to do it yourself or by script (or perhaps XYplorer's...

Adding more constants
I would like to see the constant line up expanded with other whitespace characters besides <crlf> and <tab>. It would be nice to have <cr> and <lf> separately (for non windows systems end-lines). And besides those it might be useful for the same reasons to have a general <whitespace> (exluding <crlf...

I just implemented it for self("caption") and it works well.

Re: Improvements to tag organizing
Any thoughts guys ? Which option do you like best ?
Or do you think its unnecessary ?
It kind of bums me out that if I use load to link all the items to a single script I loose the reason for it (being able to use the caption).

Re: Improvements to tag organizing
Only thing I could wish for is the ability to have the catalog items hard-linked to the script file so if i update the file every item that is linked to it is also refreshed (possibly only after a reload). Not sure I understand. You can already link catalog items to script files using the load comm...

Oh well ... in that case how about a special settings for whitespace characters horizontal (tab space) and vertical (tab CR LF FF NEL).

Re: Improvements to tag organizing
Something still seems to be missing though, do we have a way to get the tag list of a specific file as a | separated list (instead of comma seperated) ? $tags= property("#tags", $file); and then replace ", " by "|"? Yeah thats what I ended up doing, I was a bit over-ca...

Re: Please add DUAL TREE LIST on Dual Pane !
Mmm interesting, and it might cut on the tree jumps when you switch panes.
On the other hand it'll take up valuable screen space, I suggest you give the mini-tree a chance it might ease things.
Also you might want to add the 'copy to other pane' and 'move to other pane' buttons to your toolbar.

Re: iPhone in XY
Check your manual or go directly to settings and if you have a USB mode modifier try selecting 'USB Drive' or similar.
I don't have an iphone personally but most new devices have a compatible mode in which they appear as a removable drive and therefore can be seen in XYplorer.

Re: Displaying external links in a new tab
that this is opened in a new tab (or new window, what's the same). I'm so used not to think about it that I always forget to use middle click (= new tab). And I hope it's just a small change in forum definitions. Well you're in luck, all you have to do to fix is this: 1) Every time you click a link...
