Re: +++ BREAKING NEWS: XY Switches Programming Language +++
Hey folks... Enough already. Don is the creator, author, father, and OWNER of XYPlorer. We have all done very well with his work. :appl: :appl: (I happen to know developers whose programs written in VB6 are still running beautifully after more than 10 years. They are active applications where there'...

Re: Regular Expression Resources (Plus a Few Others)
Thanks, DustyDog... In spite of your generous offer of PMs, I wanted to post this to the forum in case anyone else finds my question and your answer helpful... First of all, I am NOT a programmer! So please consider that in making your reply... What would be the best resource (preferably free...

Re: +++ BREAKING NEWS: XY Switches Programming Language +++
Alright, it begins! Installed the IDE, loaded the code, and now I'm drowning in errors, warnings, and messages. Yeah, that's the life I've chosen. I'm in my element, in the groove, in the zone. :cup: Good luck Don. I wish the smooth fixing and straight forward troubleshooting.  We all be...

Dang! I didn't even know about that menu option. It worked perfectly...
This program is so robust, it's almost a life's work to use all it's features!

Stripping characters using bulk rename, not regex
I have a bunch of folders in one directory that have different names but each name is appended with "-01"
How can I use the bulk rename function to just end up with the folder name without the "-01"?
I'm not a regex person.
Thanks to all...and be safe...

Previewing m4a audio files
My phone voice recorder (native Samsung) records m4a files. XY displays "cannot code" on the preview tab, yet the files play perfectly in VLC.
Is there a way to get these files to preview in XY so I don't have to either launch VLC or convert the files?

Saving Reports...
Reorganizing drives and moving files and folders. Reports are wonderfully robust. But currently (20.60.0200) I have to copy the text, paste it into Notepad++ and then save the file.
'Twould be great to have a save button within the report window to save the report file as text. Is possible?

What's new in 20.30?
Unlike every other upgrade, there were no details on 20.30, just a statement of many fixes and enhancements.
Well, Don, what are the enhancements?
