Do you know another admin here?

(Welcome back :D )
LOL, it's coming back slowly! Thanks, so I'm not forgotten - just forgetting, still.

I thought I remembered Don was the only admin, but I wasn't sure if anyone else had joined the group.

The bug is still there, so I'd say keep it open until it's fixed.

Re: Potentially dangerous behaviour or windows screwup?

I think this might have to do with the messy windows7 profile folder concept, but i think it is something that could be relevant to xyplorer. AFAIK, you can't avoid that, it's the way Windows works when resolving the logical paths. Cheers, Filehero I'm still on XP, believe it or not, on a single co...

Re: Issues with XYPlorer and Office 2013

thanks. The problem is that the two issues were not present until I upgraded XY to 12.70 some weeks ago. My documents are all in standard Windows folders, I checked Help > Various Information and there is nothing there to indicate any issues. -Rudek Do you have any pre 12.70 XY downloads you can do...

Re: could regexmatch have a switch, please?

IT-eBooks has a lot of FREE PDF technical books (or you can order printed copies), it is a wonderful resource that I have been using for years. I searched (by title) for "Regular Expression" and came up with a bunch of books, including the one I learned with (http://it-ebooks.info/book/341...

Re: Autosize Columns won't shut off

Woudn't the "/fresh" switch do the same? I've not used it but it makes XY act as if it was a brand new install. No idea, but I didn't want to take the chance of my INI file being overwritten or loosing anything else. It might be safe, but there is so much to XY I don't think any one perso...

Re: Autosize Columns won't shut off

I'm glad someone else was able to reproduce this! Is what you found fully reproduceable? If you turn "Remember list settings per tab" back on, does it relock autosize into being on? Mesh, no, I cannot reproduce the problem by re-enabling the Remember list settings per tab setting! I thoug...

Re: Autosize Columns won't shut off

This is happening to me too and it does it from the default configuration, before I change anything! But, I finally figured it out. For those still having this problem, go to: Tools->Configuration->Controls and More->Miscellaneous and deselect Remember list settings per tab Whether this is supposed ...

Re: LayoutManager

Filehero, I hope you are happy! I've been putting off learning all the ins and outs of XY Script because of time restraints, but now that I have seen what you've done with it, I guess I have to delve in headlong. Not that I didn't already have too much on my plate.... But, it all seriousness, nice j...

Re: My whole system is lagging

Thirdly, I somehow believe that the whole issue has nothing whatsoever to do either with .net elements or the virus scanners. I suspect you are right, but as my system started working correctly without my intervention (strange, as it had been going on for awhile and I waited to report it) and DaveD...

Re: My whole system is lagging

Borut: Tried a fresh installation, and it works great, with none of the delays. I also installed XYplorer on the laptop (No, T, I hadn't done that yet--tough getting around to this stuff), and imported the XYplorer.ini file from the desktop, so as to have the exact same settings on both platforms. ...

Re: My whole system is lagging

Hey Pop, Try opening some of the MS products that depend on .NET junk - like the RAW picture viewer and see if you are having trouble there. It's weird we had the same problem at the same time but without the same solution. Also, when you run that utility I just wrote you, it should be instant - is ...

Re: My whole system is lagging

I have a feeling you are right m48tx - that the problem was external to XYplorer. Sometimes these systems can be so interrelated. I try to always verify facts - to be certain - before I make a bug report (that's why you don't see any - or many - from me), but this time I'm no longer as sure as I was...
