Who does use this tweak? I do and I feel that it (PopupMenusAtSelection=1) actually should be the standard/default behavior. Do you agree?

I think that it's not worth the effort. That's from a programmer's POV, and also from a user's POV since any action on this will complicate the UI and potentially raise further questions or discomfort. CKS are only implemented for commands in the main menu. The KS in the Catalog Context Menu are hardcoded. The reasons for this are mainly obsolete now (since I converted the Catalog from being a "UserControl"). So I could indeed add a new CKS category "Catalog Context Menu". But ...

XY currently looks for WM_XBUTTONUP and WM_NCXBUTTONUP messages to get those so-called X-buttons to work.

Personally, I'm torn on whether this is appropriate or not. Part of me thinks it would be nice if XY were smarter (insert new shortcuts that don't conflict), as that would help users discover new features without this confusion.
