I Just know that FP can play video. I thought it normal. No problem for me.
FYI. My XYplorer (18.00.0011) don't play video in FP too but can play in PP (no video control button) and Preview in Info Pane (has video control button).

Sorry I'm late. I don't think the point is rename preview. I think the point is multiple right click on context menu when want rename same list of files. Just like Netenvie said "Yes XY do the job but i have to use 3 or 4 different functions in right click menu. ". And he want rename tools...

Hamburger is very useful & easy use although it isn't middle toolbar.
But it enough for me.

And Adding "Move/copy to Other Pane" to context menu is very good.

I think your plan A B is a new good idea.

For Dual Horizontal Panes your plan can use instead of middle toolbar.

But For Dual Vertical Panes your plan cannot instead of middle toolbar because difference position.

Hopefully, you will implement your plan first then middle toolbar.

I don't want go home on inactive tab. I want one click tab(active or inactive) for active tab and go home.
Setting dbl-click tab for go home is I want. but I just lose dbl-click to new tab.

I use pro version. but normally I don't use keyboard shortcut.
I use mouse for change tab and think this is a good idea for change tab and go back to home in one click.
