I'm not so sure about that, Don. They're good at what they do, just sometimes false positives like in this instance.
For those of us who trust you, it's relatively easy to make an exception for XY and then not lose the valuable functionality of Malwarebytes as a whole.

Re: Session Manager [v6.20]
I am running XY 19.90.0100 and it will not update to 19.90.0106 via the menus.
The XY web site only shows 19.90.0100
Session Manager 6.20 won't run on the version I have that I can't update.
What to do?

Re: Newbie question re duplicate tabs...
Thanks Turion... The edit with the screen shot did it for me! See? I knew it had to be simple. It's just that Don has put so much functionality in this "little" application that it's sometimes tough to master. And, NO, I am not implying that he should stop! He's too dang good!!!! :a...

Re: Newbie question re duplicate tabs...
I usually double-click on the tab and drag it to the next pane. Also, I tried Ctrl+draging the tab to the next pane and it worked. The double-click and drag moves the tab for me. (Dobuleclick seems to "lock" the tab.) And the Ctrl+dragging does nothing (tried both right and left CTRL keys...

Newbie question re duplicate tabs...
I find myself frequently wanting to have the same tab open in two different panes so that I can move files to subfolders within that tab. When I drag a tab, the tab is moved. When I've tried using a modifier key like alt, CTRL, or shift, nothing happens. It's kind of embarrassing to ask this kind of...

Re: Session Manager [v5.73]
Hmmm, so you’d have the correct file but it’s not loaded… Your button may reference the wrong file? Let’s try each of the following steps and tell me which works and which doesn’t. SOLVED! Pilot error. I had an older set of folders for AppData from an earlier installation of Windows 10. I ha...

Re: Session Manager [v5.73]
Hey Flux... Thanks for the clarification on update and reset. VERY helpful... :appl: I opened the sessionmanager.xys in my scripts folder and it's indeed the latest version... /* version 5.73 - 2018-09-25 */ /* initial 0.# ~ 2012-01-01 */ I've closed and restarted XY and even rebooted, but to no ava...

Re: Session Manager [v5.73]
Before copying the new version to the scripts folder, I renamed the old version to "SessionManager (5.2).xys-old" Then I moved the new version to the folder. Was I supposed to do something else? Perhaps with the .ini file? The menu still shows Reset above Update. (BTW, what does RESET do a...

Re: Error opening file for writing: [XY update can't be installed!]
FYI, just learned that this message is caused by a buggy AV software called "BitDefender AV". Simply click "Ignore" and the installation will continue. That figures. I've got it on my computer and I hate it. Big PIA, intrusive, thinks it's smarter than it actually is. Won't be r...

List of folders but not files: Close, but not yet...
I'm trying to print (to clipboard, file, whatever) a tree list of folders without files. I KNOW it's possible with XY. Just don't know how.
