Re: Is it possible to stop background processing?
Yes, but I mean something different. Let me explain. For example, if I select some file and try to copy it somewhere, and the background processing is enabled, Windows will show me the security warning. warning.png If I select "Cancel", the window will disappear, and that background proces...

"Hide shell extensions" option doesn't hide some of them
Don, sorry for mass posting. I'm not sure whether you consider this a bug, but here it is. 1. Enable the "Hide shell extensions" option (Tools > Configuration > Menus, Mouse, Safety) 2. Right-click an empty folder in the file list. 3. I have Adobe Bridge and IrfanView installed on my PC. T...

Is it possible to stop background processing?
Sometimes the background processing is processed infinitely (or maybe just for a too long time, I have not tested that much). Is it possible to stop it somehow? When you don't use the background processing, you can simply press the Escape, but it seems the Escape key won't help if the background pro...

Too much coffee, probably [kidding]. Yes, you are correct, sorry for mass posting. The ideas that I have posted here recently are from my previous years of using XY. So it's not something I have a new idea each day or even a week.

Re: Full Row Select + To edit label/comment with right click [Solved]
Do you mean that each time you close and then open XY again, Tools | Customize List | Full Row Select is turned off ?
If it really so, this is a bug. For me, on Win7, it is successfully preserved between sessions.

Re: Colon-prfixed names for commands in Hamburger menu
Hm. Maybe you misunderstood me. Or maybe I misunderstood you :-) If I right-click the Toolbar and then select "Customize Toolbar", there will be opened the "Customize Toolbar" window, with two columns: "Available buttons" and "Current buttons". However, I don'...

If you open the hamburger menu on the breadcrumb bar, the first item is

Full Row Select + To edit label/comment with right click [Solved]
In XY 20.30, if you have "Tools | Customize List | Full Row Select" enabled, you can right-click a color label of a selected file to edit that label (that is, to remove it or replace with another). In XY 23.00, a simple right-click will open a file/folder menu, and to edit the label you ne...

Configuration window: Some subordinate check boxes are never grayed out
Open the Configuration window. Select the Tags section. Notice that if you clear the "Toggle tags by column click" check box, subordinate check boxes (Label, Tags, and others) stay as is, while it is expected them to be grayed out. The same for "File Info Tips & Hover Box" se...

To add basic capabilities to manage search templates on the Find Files tab
It seems wrong to me that managing search templates, even saving the current search as a new template, is completely separate from the Find Files tab. It might be a good idea to add buttons "Save to Template" and "Manage Templates" somewhere on the Find Files tab. The "Manag...
