Re: XY restore like WE
So that can be made possible with a shutdown task if that is the only difference you see in what I mentioned. Referencing Scripting? If so, not interested in that at all. I'm really an integrations kind of guy. If WE option was unchecked I sure do not want to go into XY and uncheck or disable some ...

Re: Preview Pane > ZIP Drag & Drop?
The "move" feature doesn't work (performs a copy operation). Is this by design or oversight? (regardless of 'as Admin' or not)

Re: Preview Pane > ZIP Drag & Drop?
This should work, are you running XY as Admin (shouldn't matter anyway) or anything weird? What location are you dragging to, is it a normal folder? LOL, Weird. It works like a charm; with or without 'as Admin'. I have absolutely no idea as to what the problem has been, it's never once worked until...

Re: XY restore like WE
basically if you save your tabs on exit and put XY in your startup folder, then you'd get similar behavior, what would be different that you want?, besides XY being a single app with tab interface instead of multi windows. No, Not the same. If XY is loaded on Windows shutdown, it would be loaded on...

Preview Pane > ZIP Drag & Drop?
Is the Preview Pane supporting ZIP Drag & Drop (DND)? It provides the visual indicator that it is to work. Dragging a file or files from the Preview Pane on a Zip will not COPY the contents into XY if dragged into XY LV. Is this an oversight displaying the mouse cursor change and the copy functi...

Re: Attach Files Dialog
The reason WHY I'm asking is I'm trying to figure out how, if possible, I can change the undesirable "Medium: 1024 x 768" default behavior of the dropdown to always being "Original Size"

Attach Files Dialog
Is the "Attach Files" Dialog (see below) PART of XY, or DIRECTLY CALLED via API by XY, or does XY have ABSOLUTLY NO knowledge of the "Attach Files" Dialog for Sending Emails? Thank you.

Unable to CTRL+X, CTRL+C LV File...Sometimes.
Sometimes when an external application is executed from within XY AND files and/or folders are added or removed, such as, using WinRAR, upon finishing (WinRAR), XY has 'lost' something that prevents CTRL+X or CTRL+C on a file in the folder. In the example below you can select and de-select the file...

[RESOLVED=FIXED] Re: Intra-Volume Copy vs. Move = No Joy
And it does work flawlessly when you do the exact same move operation from within Windows Explorer? WE = Sure does, works as expected. Apparently, something in XY was changed from build v19.50.0231 to v19.50.0241 and now works as expected. Only change on my end was installing v19.50.0241 and perfor...

Intra-Volume Copy vs. Move = No Joy
Performing an "intra-volume" copy and move on the same file to the same location with same credentials. I would expect the behavior to be the same. That is either both operations would succeed or both would fail. Example: Source = V:\SQL\Notes.pdf Target = V:\SQL\Docs\ Copy Steps: 1. CTRL+...

Elevated Security Context On File Operation (Move, Rename...)
The ability to elevate the security context from within XY is necessary to perform some file operations. Executing XY in always "administrative" mode to otherwise achieve is an unacceptable security risk. This is especially true in corporate environments where it is against security protoc...
