Re: Easy open for a Paper Folder
Wow :!: Thank you. My feeble attempts were off the mark by a couple of light years. Even after having studied the examples in the PDF did not understand that so many parameters had to be carefully accounted for. This has been a learning experience. May the New Year bring you all you desire - plus 20%

Has there been a code change?
Autumnal greetings highend,
To be concise wonder if Don has made changes to XY since you authored the script. It no longer works. Instead get an Error Message stating, "Invalid Image File".

Set Extension
Has anyone asked for the function Rename Special | Set Extension to have a Dropdown list? As one who happens to use that a lot having a few past ones available would save some keystrokes.

While it is not part of XYplorer Don may aid a lot of people if it were referred to somewhere "in the footnotes".

CBT for Pg/up and Pg/Dn ?
Would it be possible for someone out there to furnish a script to put into a custom toolbar button for Page Up and Page Down?
The reason for needing this is that the new Trackball as no mechanism to scroll. In particular for using when viewing Thumbnails.

@ SammaySarkar - Do appreciate your taking the time to compose a lucent explanation. Think the FVS is now understood. Even after having read the PDF several times it remained nebulous. With this new comprehension it makes great good sense.

Was reading the PDF for v20.20. It states: When going to a folder via tab switch, the tab's memory is valued higher than any associated Folder View . This way it is ensured that you always find a tab in the state you left it. With this all occuring automatically no longer understand what the value o...

Your technical view of the impetus to upgrade is on the mark.
The motivation I have falls under the category of "As time goes by". Do you still light your home with kerosene lamps or have you upgraded to LED's?

On the first day Summer the time has come to add my voice to a number of posts here. The tipping point has arrived to stop augmenting XYplorer and get to the real core issue. To be concise move on to 64 bits! This is given gravitas by the fact that Microsoft has announced it will terminate support f...

Rely completely on Check For Updates which means do not read what has transpired in the Betas along the way to the next formal release.
At least a cursory mention of the changed Toolbar icons would have been nice.
