Re: Mirror file operatione in dual pane
I could see this being useful if you want to rename a file on your C: drive and keep the name of its backup on D: in sync so you could do both via this instead of having to do rename twice (and making sure that you do it!) The same with delete?  Well...yes, actually...since it'd be t...

Are these any cases where MDBU (Mouse Down Blow Up) or Floating Preview might be used?stebobibo wrote:What about a way to zoom in and out, such as a zoom scroll bar? Does one exist?

Re: XY does not show the Carbonite right-click menu option
It's always possible to find an analogy to support whatever your position is. Now whether that analogy carries any weight with the user community is another matter entirely. I was simply trying that as way of explaining why it's unfair to expect something that is apparently custom coded to work onl...

Re: XY does not show the Carbonite right-click menu option
How can it be that WE can make it work, but XY (and DO and others) cannot? based on what has been posted above, it seems it more of a case that Carbonite was built to work only on/with WE so nothing other products can do to fix that...there are some other cases that are similar... I'd make an analo...

XY Free - Tweeted by @GizmosFreeware today
Saw this on my Twitter feed -- https://twitter.com/GizmosFreeware/status/514358831712071680 And here's the linked article -- http://www.techsupportalert.com/content/try-alternative-file-manager-and-explorer-windows-its-free.htm Some user feedback comments mention x2 but still nice to get another XY ...

Re: Large Tiles Larger?
OK, I will change the factory defaults to 48 and 128, and make them tweakable (minimum values 48 and 64). Good to hear about tweak for us with limited screen space! Is it okay to always have them as perfect squares? For my 4x3 layout display, square makes sense -but- maybe for 16x9 style, a rectang...

Re: Large Tiles Larger?
64x64 is not really large nowadays. What if I'd simply made it 128 x 128? Really depends on what size/resolution screen one has to view it on -- now I use that view option only occasionally but in my typical use, I can only see 12 files with existing Large Tiles so making it much bigger would rende...

I'm brand new to the Beta Club, but have been a licensed user (and lover!) of XYplorer for a long time. Hi and welcome to the XY forums! Glad to have you here! However, after doing a Google search, I discovered that nobody else had reported similar concerns or results (I find it difficult to believ...

Re: File manager comparison
Hi and welcome to the XY forums! I've not used the other FM's to any extent but years ago when I found XY, i just liked the look of it as compared to WE. And things you need to consider are total cost of purchase (if any) and what the entitles you to (DO seems a bit costly from what I've read); how ...

Unless the OP was at end of 30-day trial period, he could still use it via that method until he gets a reply from Don and I though he has answered some emails even while on vacation but he stays away from forum usually.Enternal wrote:Hmm... well you could try to pay again and use it now.
