Re: 18.70.0100 Suspend Auto-Refresh Zombie

Strangely, Windows Explorer updates just fine with it... I would expect they have information that isn't available to those outside MS, but it still seems really weird. Do any other NAS systems have this issue, or is it something unique to Synology? Is there some way to automate doing a manual refre...

Re: 18.70.0100 Suspend Auto-Refresh Zombie

The file not found issue seems to be related to the Watch line I had put in (which doesn't really make sense as there are plenty of files there). However, even a fresh instance still has the problem of "Suspend Auto-refresh" always being ON, and doesn't put anything in the debug log. So ev...

Re: 18.70.0100 Suspend Auto-Refresh Zombie

Downloaded the new version, browsed to a NAS location, verified that "Suspend.." was still ON. ::dlog; showed the following line: 2018-11-19 07:59:48.124 >> StartWatch failed (P:\scanned pictures\Unfiled): The system cannot find the file specified. Also confirmed that starting with /Fresh ...

Re: 18.70.0100 Suspend Auto-Refresh Zombie

Thanks for the reply. I didn't know that tweak, so I just tried it. However, it didn't seem to make any difference -- still had to manually refresh with Ctrl-R to get it to update.

Here is the line from the config file (Drive Z is the one I'm currently working with):
WatchIt=Z:\*|P:\*|V:\*|M:\*

Re: 18.70.0100 Suspend Auto-Refresh Zombie

I'm seeing something similar. I'm using 19.30.0032. When I'm browsing a network drive on my Synology NAS, the "Suspend Auto-Refresh" option is always ON -- I can't turn it OFF. This includes right after a restart with no background file ops running. This means that every time I update or a...

Re: Hoverbox pops up on wrong monitor

v17.70.0204: Shows on the correct monitor but does not move up to ensure it does not extend beyond the bottom of the screen. EDIT: Which is good enough for me, BTW. /edit 17.70.0204 also looks good on mine (and here HB doesn't extend beyond the bottom of the screen -- the HB shifts up to be display...

Re: Hoverbox pops up on wrong monitor

admin wrote:So, is HB the only thing that pops at the wrong monitor?
Yes. The file properties (for non-image files) pops up as expected, right in the XY window, and F11 pops up on the same monitor as well.

Conc. the OT: tricky! I tried something... let's see.
Version 17.70.0203 didn't fix it for me, unfortunately....

Re: Hoverbox pops up on wrong monitor

I see the same results as TheQwerty -- HB only appears on the wrong monitor when XY is on my right-most monitor (I also have 3). It appears against the right edge of monitor 2 when XY is on monitor 3. Not sure if it will help, but here are the results of screen; when XY is on monitor 3: Screen Virtu...

Hoverbox pops up on wrong monitor

I can certainly see how the HoverBox can be an addictive new feature -- very cool!

However, when I enable it, the box pops up on a different monitor from the one where XY is running, which isn't what I want or expect. Is there a setting to have this pop up on the same monitor?

Thanks!

Re: Hoverbox Preview not working

I was having a similar issue until I realized that the option "Show info tips only when the shift key is held down" was on (which appears to be the default). When I turned that option off, it all worked as expected. I may have turned that option on previously (if it existed before), but I ...

Re: Problems with Icon overlays

AHA! That did it! I had searched and re-ordered the TortoiseSVN overlays in the regular section, but wasn't aware of the WOW6432node fix -- that's what it was!

Thanks!
