Oh, I already had that working - I didn't realise because setting it to "open on click" doesn't work.

Changed bug report title and split into two threads. New thread is Can't drag special folders (eg. My Computer) to catalog.

No "Open on click" for special folders in catalog

Setting "open on click" for a special folder (eg. My Computer, Desktop, My Documents, My Network Places) in catalog stops that catalog item from working.

Couldn't XYplorer be prevented from fetching info tips for such files?

RefreshListIconsCache doesn't refresh new file associations

I hate how the subject has to be so small in these forums. We should so use bugzilla...

Anywho, the View command Refresh List Icons Cache doesn't refresh icons when a new file association is made / the icon for a file association changes.

File Info Tips with many .avi files causes Xyplorer to hang

I've recently created a folder containing a lot (22) of large (700MB) avi files. With File Info Tips enabled in XP, merely waving the mouse anywhere in XYplorer when this folder is open in the current tab causes 100% CPU usage and XYplorer hangs (is totally unresponsive) for a few seconds until CPU ...

Yeah, that. Good memory. It's not terrible usually but with different themes it can be awful.

Tab highlight color can't be changed, making for ugly themes

If you use a different theme in WindowsXP, XYplorer can look quite horrible since certain patches (the toolbar, tab foreground, and a border around the statusbar) don't follow the system theme colours.

EDIT: Changed title since the tab highlight is the only non-editable thing.

Oh, a great new feature! Open on click - I use it to launch Explorer folders so I can see folder thumbnails :/

Yeah color filters rock.

Crash when selecting a copied partly-downloaded from torrent

Steps to reproduce: 1. Download one file from the middle of a list of files with uTorrent 2. Now start downloading the file before that file 3. Copy that new unfinished file to another folder on your HD 4. Click somewhere in that folder Result: XYplorer crashes Expected result: Xyplorer doesn't cras...

That doesn't work when you select a folder in the tree, it only works when you double-click a folder in the view pane. Whereas Windows Explorer is the other way 'round (only auto-expands when you select a folder in the tree, and NOT when you double-click a folder).

It's a Vista thing too. I use folder thumbnails wherever possible, it makes browsing collections of things (eg. music, games, movies) much prettier and easier.

F4 doesn't refresh drive icons

F4 now refreshes drive names, but not icons (excepting the n/a icon overlay).
