Please check whether you use the correct gdiplus.dll on Windows 2000. This is just a hunch.

Re: wow64 off, can overwrite files without confirmation.
I am on Vista x64 and cannot confirm this behaviour. I disabled WOW64 redirection inside XYplorer. Drag and Drop or Ctrl+V and Crtl+C doesn't overwrite the old file. The old file is not overwritten at all. If I double click on the old ASCII file the original content appears. Furthermore the modifica...

Re: Context Menu bug under Windows Server 2008 x64
If have stumbled upon something. Perhaps this Compiler can be used to make XYplorer truly 64-bit in the long run without too much effort.

Re: Like a new feature? Say thanks here
I wasn't in dire need of the recycle bin feature as I mostly know what I do.
But the possibility to edit the mini tree is very welcome. Thanks.

Cycling through tabs behaves differently with mouse wheel
If I cycle through my tabs using the mouse wheel I get stuck on the right side.
Ctrl+Tab continues to the left side. So this is an inconsistency.

Re: Cannot connect to Unix server via Samba file server
But nevertheless with 8.60 you have to enter your credentials each time after windows boot while with WE you don't have to. You say: after windows boot... So the credentials must be statically remembered and (somehow and somewhen) be automatically re-applied, by WIN or by WE. If it's WE, XY had to ...

Re: Cannot connect to Unix server via Samba file server
With 8.70 the drive is not accessible immediately after entering your credentials. You have to close XY and restart it before being able to access. Really? Doesn't a tree refresh (F4) or tree rebuild (ctrl+shift+f4) help? As far as I remember the shortcuts didn't help. "Tools special -> Reconn...

Re: Cannot connect to Unix server via Samba file server
8.60 behaves slightly better than 8.70.0100 in terms of mapped share accessibility. With 8.60 the first time you click on the drive's item inside XY the login dialog pops up and after entering username/password the share is mapped correctly. With 8.70 the drive is not accessible immediately after en...

Re: Cannot get a simple script to work
Another thing. The path must point to the correct exe because XY could extract WinRAR's Icon from exactly the same path having "Program Files" in its string. So case b) can be ruled out. The WinRAR icon is recognizable in the screenshot. I am using WinRAR x64 by the way.

Re: Cannot get a simple script to work
I see you are in Switzerland, so i suspect you use a german localisation. Thus try run "C:\Programme\WinRAR\WinRar.exe" Tried it, didn't work. Thanks though. Funny! I have Win7 64bit german and this works (i use WinRAR, too). Are you sure you have the 64bit version of WinRar insta...
