Re: auto generate script menu? loop list of names...

Big thank you highend, that works great. Quite close to what I was asking and it does it great. If only thing better would be to try get rid of that $base variable in front of folder names. I guess idea would be just to copy folder names from win explorer or existing list and paste into that subfold...

auto generate script menu? loop list of names...

Hi have not been here for a while so I forgot if this is the right place to ask a question script related. Currently I use this type of script in the left catalog panel, to create "buttons" and when click on buttons it shows menu with options (locations) to move files to. Script caption &q...

Re: thumbnails for folder contains video files

Is that above available in Xy 15.00? Or I just do not know where to find it. If ON then folder thumbnails are harvested in the following order of precedence: <curitem>\desktop.ini>[ViewState]>Logo <curitem>\folder.jpg ...etc Right now if I set "show folder thumbnails" desktop ini is skippe...

Re: folder icon (folder.ico) not scaling properly

Thanks. Just installed the 15.00 and same thing. All good if thumbnails are set to 128 or 256 size, but if it is (example) 200, or 180 it will only show icons at 128 size. It will not scale them up. So thumbs are left with lots of empty space around it. note: just to repeat, this is for folder thumb...

folder icon (folder.ico) not scaling properly

In windows explorer no matter what size thumbnail I have set (large or huge. etc) folder icon will scale up properly. My icons for folders are at about 256 pixels. When thumbnails are set to let say 200, custom folder icons stays at 128 with whole lot of empty space around it. Folder.jpg scales up j...

Re: How to add/remove thumbnail label/text ?

Thank you (sorry for a late reply).

Why is that menu only visible on right click only and only partially visible when clicked on button?
The whole menu should be visible when I click on thumbnail button.
Just a rant as I do not see purpose hiding couple of bottom options.

again, thanks for help :)

How to add/remove thumbnail label/text ?

Hi,
Under thumbnail (by default) I have filename.ext label... ok, that is good.

Now, how do I remove filename displayed and show only thumbnails?

Also, if I keep filename, how do I add (for example) extra info like "file size" or "date" under filename label?

Thanks

Re: Slideshow/Animated Thumbnails for Video

Sure it could be resource intensive. I am just thinking if mobile devices and websites can do it there is a way to make it work on pc. Lightroom has feature jdev21 was describing on mouse over video but would be nice feature in a every day file browser such as this one. But one more thing before I l...

Re: thumbnails fixed height

Not good practice, cloning unique features of other file managers. I agree but... Android gallery viewers (I have on device) all display square 1:1 thumbnails with images cropped to square. So would xyplorer's "Zoom To Fill" be a clone of android image galley viewers or was android galler...

Re: Slideshow/Animated Thumbnails for Video

I like how video player on (samsung) android devices show animated video thumbnails of videos. I like this idea and thinking if android devices with weaker cpu and less memory can do it why a desktop computer would have trouble? I would like to be able to browse through directory of videos and have ...
