well, the renaming solution is no good for me, because these cached files and names often change, get deleted and recreated with new names.
hoping you can fix the bug in xyplorer?

i'm pretty sure when you click Continue on that popup, that the permissions get changed, which is also why you can go there using xyplorer after doing that.

also, this system is still very clean as i just installed a fresh win 10 x64 on it yesterday for the new ssd drive. so it doesn't even have antivirus or other things yet to slow it down.

just tried /fresh. same exact issue. it should be pretty easy to reproduce. just put a lot of files in there and while it's counting them, try to go up a level or open a file in there. it counts the items for well over a minute, essentially forcing you to wait. until it's done, you can do anything. ...
