Folder thumbnails

I submitted this before, (and mentioned it recently ) but I couldn't find the thread. Just wondering if it's on your to-do list - it's the one thing I care about that Explorer does and XYplorer doesn't, the one thing that keeps me using Explorer: Folder thumbnails - ie. folder icons contain up to fo...

I'd personally say that this wish falls into the domain of a multi-media product (like IrFanView or Picasa) and not a file explorer... Being able to preview a file is itself a big extension to what Win Expl does, and that alone is fine with me... :) We're (and I'm using that as I feel part o...

I guess (c)... ?
Of course (c), as kimsnarf said, if the user is warned, it's okay.

"Toggle details/Thumbnails view" toolbar button co

"Toggle details/Thumbnails view" toolbar button could have the View > Current Tab > Views menu as its context menu.

off topic  @j_c Did you know the following tric?: When you have a error dialogwindow, hit ctrl-c. The error message will be copied to the clipboard, so you can past it anywhere :) Not off topic, thanks CyGho I forgot that, which is easy to do with so many features... hmm, XYplorer needs a &qu...

Can't rename drives, and F4 doesn't refresh drive names

Pressing F2 or selecting Rename from menu or context menu does nothing when a drive is selected.

Also if you do rename a drive (through the Explorer Properties), pressing F4 doesn't refresh the drive name in the tree.

Ok I take that back. Now it's the other way 'round, doing it only when "Show Hidden Files and Folders" is *checked*. Then I tried creating a catalog item for C:\, and it worked, and G:\ worked again - but the behaviour switched again so now it only bugs out when "Show Hidden Files and...

Re: Jacky's post

Not to worry will continue with my icon resizing excercise. You can stop excercising (or, excer siz ing, haha) now: I changed it. Now not the last but the best icon is taken, where best means (a) the largest, and then (b) the deepest (in bits per pixel). Ah, brilliant. Among a number of awesome cha...

Bug? What bug? I mean bug in the Bugzilla sense, where any potential improvement is a "bug" to be fixed. BTW, haven't seen you here for quite a while, Chris. Don't tell me that you have betrayed me with another file manager! lol, as if. Although I still use Explorer half the time b...
