Re: Virtual Folders random pick??
I don't open a new thread for it: will it be possible (or is it already) to pick files from more than one folder? Example: I have more than one Screnshoot folders and I want to get the 10 latest from the content of all combined. (It is possible that all 10 are from the same folder, but also they can...

Re: Joker Tabs
I am just wondering if it wouldn't be useful to mark the previous tab visually, from which you arrived to the joker.
By the way, I am not a big fan of two-pane anymore (since I started to use XY), but in my workflow I can imagine using the 2nd pane exclusively for joker tabs.

Re: [SOLVED] Separate configuration of Tab Captions and in Tab List
For example? Anything could work for me. Italic (I am not sure about that, should see it first) or rather coloring (like dark blue) and definitely with more space between the caption and full path. I would put the dash between the caption and fullpath, similarly to the number and caption. Or you ca...

Re: Separate configuration of Tab Captions and in Tab List
v22.80.0002 - 2022-02-04 17:10 * Go | Tablist...: Now the full path (in square brackets) is not shown anymore in the tab list by default. Too much information. Instead the full path is now shown in the status bar when you hover the popup menu items. If you need it the old way you can opt in via a t...

Re: "global" functions
Is there a way I could make the function "confirmCMD" easily available to all scripts? (I thought adding /script= to the commandline might do it, but the function was not available afterwards) I had the very same wish back then (the only difference was that I wanted to use it differently)...

Re: Three XYplorer Questions
Of course not. If you use folder view settings, you can use wildcards in the path list. Mine is like this:

Actually I vaguely remember that this glitch happened some years ago, but I think it was solved back then, I never saw it again.

Re: Inputselect get style for marking all items.
I am just wondering why you didn't do it already by yourself... Like this, very roughly: //my inputselect to select all function inputselect2($list, $separator) { return inputselect(,"+".replace($list,$separator,$separator."+"),$separator,2); } echo inputselect2("a|b|c|d&quo...

Re: Remove Tab on Folder Delete?
Ages ago I asked for a CEA on delete (to be able to cancel the delete if the file or folder had to be protected based on an algorithm.) However, if you wanted to delete many files or folders, it could slow the deletion down significantly. But could help here anyway.

Please be patient. If you don't have 24/7 contract, you have to put up with the occasional vacations.

Re: Quicksearch /a [show all] overrides /n or /d
I recommend to merge the one-letter switches when you use them. According to my experiences it won't work correctly when separated. Example:
text quicksearch("*.jpg /na", <curpath>);

Re: Quicksearch of folders containing "both" types of files
I am sorry if it won't work, because I am not at my computer at the moment. I would try something like this:
In the pattern part of quicksearch:
Of course I have my doubts, but I would give it a try.
In the pattern part of quicksearch:
"*.dbits OR (*.ini AND cont:SizeDbits)"
Of course I have my doubts, but I would give it a try.
