Re: Context Menu: Unpack Folder
One common use is when extracting an archive to a directory using the archive name, then you have another folder inside that one. Instead of moving things around and wasting keystrokes and clicks, that folder can just be unpacked. Sometimes I will get images that are sorted or extracted into separat...

Context Menu: Unpack Folder
The ability to empty a folder exists in XY but oddly a very useful feature, unpack folder does not exist. Basically what unpacking a folder does is move the contents of the selected folder to its parent directory while removing the folder. 8) I suggested this feature for a program called FileMenu To...

Re: ZIP Support (so I can finally retire "PowerDersk Pro")
Which part, zip extraction?admin wrote:Anyway, I will probably write this part from scratch to make it real native (without dependency on ZipFolders) and this phenomenon should disappear then.

Re: ZIP Support (so I can finally retire "PowerDersk Pro")
Could it be that for some reason your system does not support zip folders. What OS is it? Yes, I disabled zip and cab folders in Windows 7 long ago. Useless feature and a waste of resources. I have re-enabled it for now to test and it's now working. Now I will go back and get rid of it again! :) I ...

Re: The relative path in the Toolbar
Actually, you can just enter 0005.ico if the icon resides in XY's data directory.
So: 0005.ico
instead of:
<xypath>\icons\0005.ico
So: 0005.ico
instead of:
<xypath>\icons\0005.ico

Re: ZIP Support (so I can finally retire "PowerDersk Pro")
BTW, this new zip feature does not work for me, it just creates empty directories on archive and extract. Hopefully, if implemented, there will be an option to remove this from XY's context menu as I can easily create my own archive tools using the catalog or through XY's powerful scripting. :shock...

Re: ZIP Support (so I can finally retire "PowerDersk Pro")
I agree with the "can of worms" analogy. XYplorer dev has put much effort into portable file icons, portable file extensions, maybe it's time for a portable shell menu. Then users can easily build their own menus using those portable programs, such as 7zip for example, and keep XY simple a...

Please Show Hidden Thumbs As Other Hidden Files
Images, when hidden and showing in the thumbnail view do not appear greyed out as other hidden items do. I would like to request this. Also discussed here: http://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic.php?t=1301
