Re: Alternate Portable File Assoc. or Alt Open With

Thanks RalphM Yes I am aware of multiple defined extensions, And what you replied with does work. I am also aware of the ctrl-alt-enter combo. I guess I was looking for a quick keyboard shortcut, or modifier key, that would give me the same functionality without having to go to menus, pop up menu sc...

Alternate Portable File Assoc. or Alt Open With

I dont know if there is already a way to do this but I cant seem to find it so .. .. Is there a way to have an modifier for the portable file associations? Example: Say I set a portable file association for a .csv file for some big complex program that I usually use to handle this, 90% of the time. ...

Re: Menu item - Toolbars

I think I would like to see tool bars attached to the tabs like I have seen in other manager. This way I could have navigation related buttons / scriptable buttons where I think I would need them most; and spend most of my time managing files. This would leave more room on the top tool bar for gener...

Re: ToolBar Swap

Update number 1, Thanks SkyFrontier. I have fixed the problems I hope. I originally had all files under the scripts folder. Then I decided, while getting this post ready, to put everything under a sub folder - much more organized. I thought I caught all the path problems. I guess not. Hope this fixe...

ToolBar Swap

This is my first upload to this community. I really love this file manager, nothing else comes close. This is a simple set of scripts to allow one to define any number of toolbars and toggle between them via keys or the menu. I really need more space for toolbar buttons. I define all kinds of things...

Bold Color Filters

If there is a way to do this then let me know because I do not see a way; which is why I am putting this in the wish list. I would like to be able to also make the the font in the views Bold or italics, or maybe even a different font, depending on conditions in the color filter list. If that is not ...

Re: Whats going on with my file dates - Help

I would be interested in anything that would help. I have created a user button that runs a little script: timestamp cm, "<dateexif>". I am ignoring the couple files with the date of the 6th. Everything else seems to fall in line with what has been discussed. Maybe my wife recopied these f...

Re: Whats going on with my file dates - Help

After some experimenting: I copied more photos from the camera to the hard drive and the modified and created dates were set to today even though the exif date is 11/1/2010. I guess it makes sense but win explr displayed the date that was most usefull to me. I did mess around with the date format as...

Re: Whats going on with my file dates - Help

Here is a shot of Win Expl. I am running win 7 and these files are on a local drive that I use to organize and archive. These files were actually copied on 11/3/2010. I had though about the dates getting modified in some way so I did double check explorer before I posted. I also checked the EXIF inf...

Whats going on with my file dates - Help

I have been checking out XYplorer for a week now and I took the jump and purchase it on sale. I have been eval'ing it at work to put it through its paces and have enjoyed it so far. Now I brought it home and started to use it in the hope it would help me manage the large amounts of files (pics) I ha...
