While I can't prove it, it seems this bug works on any folder. The last one I tried
C:\a\
C:\a\b\
C:\a\b\c.txt
Flattening either C:\a\ or C:\a\b\ doesn't work. Nor does any other folder I try, on any drive.

Re: Support for Portable Devices
I tried this feature with my new Canon SX600. Some observations. Attempt to copy or move *folder* from the device fails with error 0x00000000. An empty file with the same name as the folder is created instead. Moving and copying *files* from the device works correctly. Copying files/folders to the d...

Re: Flatten Folder Failure
You are not alone, this happened to me too. After it happened, I tried to flatten the folder repeatedly, even moved it, moved stuff inside and may have tried it on some other folder too. Nothing worked, only restart :ghost: helped. That was on my second attempt to use this feature, so it's probably ...

Re: No context menu on multi-selections
Thanks for fixing this!!!!
For the record, it fixes this bug I reported 2.5 years ago:

Glad someone had the same problem, I was running into this issue constantly.

Re: undo crash
Thanks, TheQwerty! In my case, it just crashes irrespective of what is currently selected (and crashes before any file operation is done, so after a crash, I end up with with a.txt, a (2).txt, b.txt - just like before Undo) This is my action log: Clipboard-20140210.png Shouldn't there be the same nu...

Re: undo crash
Maybe it's named differently in your system. Other than that, I described all the steps, it may be that only I can reproduce it.

Re: undo crash
By adding suffix I meant the "Move, but keep both files" option (which effectively results in adding suffix).

undo crash
1) start fresh version of xyplorer 2) create file a.txt in location 1 3) create files a.txt and b.txt in location 2 4) move (not copy) files a.txt *and* b.txt from location 2 to location 1 (using ctrl+x and ctrl+v) 5) when it asks whether overwrite, choose "Move, but keep both files" 6) ct...

Re: Cannot Drag-&-Drop Images from Opera 18.0 or Chrome (v13
I tried with my pre-Webkit Opera (12.16) and dragging that Twitter image doesn't work in v13.00.0008 (nor does it in older versions). But elsewhere it usually works. No big deal, as far as I am concerned, just wanted to let you know.

Re: Installation problems with 12.90
You can restart the computer, why couldn't you? At worst, you can push the reset button. It's probably some one-time glitch, that will disappear after restart.

Re: Installation problems with 12.90
Did you try to restart the computer? Other than that, you don't need to install anything, you can just download the portable version and extract it.

Re: Installation problems with 12.90
So what did those two tools show you? They should display whatever is blocking the given file (in this case xyplorer.exe). If nothing is blocking the file, did you try to just delete it and then run the installator?

Re: Installation problems with 12.90
Unlocker is a great tool and I use it myself. But if you for some reason don't like it, you can try LockHunter instead, which has similar functionality.

Remove the backslash at the end:
Code: Select all
"XnView"psd;hdr>C:\Program Files(x86)\XnView\xnview.exe
