I'll begin trying to narrow down the crash scenario.
On "prop:#audio.channels:2" - The MS docs do indicate "2" and "1" as values, but elsewhere I found "2 (stereo)" and "1 (mono)". So I'm not sure which is right.

Re: Boolean Find crashes on 170K+ file list
Interestingly... Both of these crash: (01.*.flac) AND (NOT (prop:#audio.bitdepth:16-bit)) (01.*.flac) AND ((prop:#audio.bitdepth:16-bit)) This does not crash: (01.*.flac) AND ( NOT (prop:#audio.channels:2)) but this does crash (finding no files first): (01.*.flac) AND ((prop:#audio.channels:2)) Off-...

Re: Boolean Find crashes on 170K+ file list
The culprit could be among the "01.*.flac" files. What if you do this pattern? (01.*.flac) AND (NOT (prop:#audio.bitdepth:16-bit)) This crashes in the same way, at about 179K files checked. Using "0.1.*.flac" by itself works fine... finds tens of thousands of files. Also OK is (...

Boolean Find crashes on 170K+ file list
Win10 8GB w XY 17.00.0217, "fresh" instance. This may be impractical to replicate for debugging but I'm reporting it at least for info. I have about 8000 folders on an external USB3 drive. These appear in the list pane. Each folder has about 50 items in two subfolders below it. When I run ...

Re: Color Filter - empty folders, and AND
Thanks for all the assistance. Sammay has it: I need to specify an "empty" folder, not size zero. I didn't understand the distinction re folders, which also led me to think I misunderstood the Boolean forms. My first attempt was in fact "attr:d and size:0", and I did read the Hel...

Color Filter - empty folders, and AND
I want to set a color filter for empty folders. I thought "size d:0" (no quotes) would work, but it doesn't. I've tried everything else I can think of. Is this possible? In the course of this I tried to set Boolean conditions on a filter. Is there a direct way to do an 'AND"? For exam...

Redesign of delete confirmations is good time for this idea
Previous wish: An option, or even just a tweak, to turn off delete confirmation on empty folders.
The reasoning is here: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=15542&p=136625&hili ... rs#p135786 though the discussion got derailed.

Re: Moveto: add flag to exclude RichMove prompt
There was no flattenfolder() at the time. I requested that last year* mostly because of the interference with RichMove. You kindly added it, knowing you'd have to spend time refining it, fielding questions etc. I've used it ten thousand times since then. Thanks * to which some imposter pretending to...

Live Filter search box - minor UI glitch
If I use LF to find a set of folders, then drag them all to a different place: the LF search box sometimes goes blank, or blanks all but the first letter; if fully blank then it can't be dismissed by having the cursor there and pressing 'Escape'. v17.00.0105, Win10 EDIT: just saw https://www.xyplore...

Re: goto command always open new tab
I agree that it would be nice if such scripts could use Shift without creating a new tab. Many of my User scripts watch for Shift to mean "run without further confirmations" - very convenient but it doesn't work as intended if there's a Goto. This was discussed here: https://www.xyplorer.c...

Re: "File in use" stupid loop.
This remains an inconvenience with XY, though somewhat less often for me now. Maybe I'm being more careful. https://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=12221&p=109610&hilit=escape+window#p109610 My suggestion there still stands - if the "Folder In Use" popup window is und...

Re: Search within search fails
So - further testing shows that the error occurs only if folder(s) in the List pane have a semicolon in their name. I use semicolons so often in folder names that all my earlier tests included those.
Edit: actually, if any folder in the path (above or in the List) has a semicolon
