I would like to increase view thumbnails limits from 3 to 4 or more, is it possible, please?

I keep open my XYplorer 2hrs or more (/even I don't close it until shutdown my machine). So sometimes XYplorer crashes. When XYplorer crashed all tabs and last changes not saved, what can I do for saving each changes even crashed happens?
