Re: Space character trimming in Find Files
The way you did it would not have been clear in my case because there was no character after the space in the search term. The trailing wildcard character is not needed for the search, as "the " performs exactly the same way with less typing (at least before the trimming was added).

Space character trimming in Find Files
v13.80.0111 started to trim leading and trailing spaces in Find Files, saying that it's expected behavior. I think that's half-right. If you say that file names that start with spaces are not allowed by the OS in the first place, so it makes sense to trim leading spaces from the Standard search - th...

Re: ContextMenu64 = APPCRASH
The best of both worlds is to leave XY set to use the 32-bit context menu, and then bring up the 64-bit menu on an as-needed basis (you can bring up the 64-bit menu from within the 32-bit menu - no need to go back into Config).

Re: ContextMenu64 = APPCRASH
Loading and unloading XY and verifying the back-grade is in fact all of the prior components and unloading ESET with all of my configuration/network setting/system access/etc. and then validating it's unloaded all are not options just to see. If there's no diagnostics I'm running around achieving v...

Re: ContextMenu64 = APPCRASH
The inquiry into the AV was due to that type of software causing a multitude of problems in the past - not only with XY, but with other apps as well. From past experience, the nature of the issues can be very odd - and not intuitively predictable. The frequency can also be seemingly random and not r...

Re: ContextMenu64 = APPCRASH
Still cannot reproduce with 13.60.0013... ContextMenu64 is solid here. Same here. I'm sorry, Zardoz2293, but I have to wonder just how ultra stable your machine really is. For what it's worth, I have had all sorts of odd behavior in XY pop up as a result of my AV settings. And it's not just about r...

Re: ContextMenu64 = APPCRASH
For what it's worth, I'm not seeing that problem here. I also have WinRAR v5.01 (64-bit) running on Win 7 x64.. I tried the Test Archive function both ways - going through the secondary 64-bit context menu when XY was configured for 32-bit, as well as when XY was configured to present the 64-bit men...

Re: Hotkey requests for a couple of UI cases
"M" is already being used for "Rename", so I didn't know if you wanted a duplicate. But any letter you like would be fine.admin wrote:1. What's wrong about using the "m" of "menu"?
2. Good idea, done.

Hotkey requests for a couple of UI cases
I wanted to request a couple of hotkey additions for keyboard users: 1. The new "Show 64-bit context menu". Could we perhaps get that "6" changed to a hotkey for easy triggering by keyboard? 2. When XY asks you if you want to perform a Rich Copy because you're copying items from different locations,...

Re: Minor - More icons embedded in ContextMenu64.exe
Okay, I see what you mean - it only comes up in medium sizes.
I've sent a new version to Don with additional icon support. Everything should look fine once that gets integrated.

Re: Minor - More icons embedded in ContextMenu64.exe
Hmm. It *is* the same icon. It's a 256 x 256 icon created from the PNG off of XY's site. If I put both files in the same folder, go to Explorer, and display the folder as Extra Large Icons, what I see is shown below. They look identical. Edit: Or do you mean that you want smaller icons included as w...

Instant Color Filter - suggestions
I like the new Instant Color Filters functionality. One thing I would like to recommend, though: Under the toolbar button, you currently have everything set with radio buttons. The problem here is that you're limited to only one category at a time. I'd like to see checkboxes instead, so that you can...
