Don't worry, I don't mind.
I'm OP, and I approve tab groups. Let's make the dream of our 2006 forefathers come true!

Re: Any fixes for these annoyances

I second the tab group request. Working with XYplorer intensively on a day to day basis, I really mis it. The catalog definitly is not a workable substitute. As for the question which properties to (re)store: as many as possible, because it will only make XYplorer more versatile and usable. So how ...

Re: Tab groups

What about implementing the tab groups feature (as described) sometime? It could be done by adding an entry "Add tab to group on the left" to the right-click menu of the tabs, which would either create a group of tabs with the current one and the one on its left, or add the current tab to the exist...

Re: Tags 2.0

If the cost of 1) is not much I would definitely go with that and it would be worth it. Also, my understanding about Keyword and Tag is this: Keywords are usually used to describe an item accurately so that someone looking for it can find it. The original idea was to describe something in few Key W...

Tab groups

The way I use XY, I generally have 25+ tabs open, but actually there are associated with only four or five tasks that I perform on a regular basis ie. browsing music, managing downloads, editing the code of my websites etc. Thus, several tabs are used together when I do something, and they could be ...

Problems with NAS shares

Like I noted in another topic, XY does not open the logon window for password-protected shares (you need to open Explorer). Furthermore, XY seems to have a problems with network shares when merging folders (eg. folders A and B, renaming B to A): the merge works fine, but the old dir still hangs ther...

Re: Connecting to mapped network drive after Windows has booted

Kinda related problem: I have a NAS with password-protected shares, and I cannot connect from XY. It tells me "Location currently not available", but it won't open the login/passwd popup (I must logon through Explorer).

Re: Move to recently used tab

Wow, thank you sir! One very minor detail: would it be able to make the ctrl+tab bounce at the end of the MRU list, as it used to do? In other words, if I cycle tabs forward while not in the middle of some ctrl+tab-tab-tab sequence, then I jump to some tabs that I assume to be the bottom of the MRU ...

Re: Move to recently used tab

Yes, it's ok to do so; this is a matter of personal preferences (I prefer looking before leaping )

Re: Move to recently used tab

Yes, you usually ctrl+tab (i.e. pressing tab-tab-tab with the ctrl key down) to the nth previous active tab you want, and if you went too far backward, you ctrl+shift+tab while keeping ctrl pressed all the time. You can download Opera to test the behavior if you want. Windows follows the same logic...
