Re: Move close button to left of tab, so always under the mo
What about this: Show the X-close button at the right end of the tab bar? I'd consider the left side of each tab best, the right side of each tab second best, and the right side of the entire tab-bar third best. An example that explains why: There are ten tabs open, and you want to close all tabs b...

The bottom-most screenshot is indeed clicking in the green area, and I'm still not getting those options.

Re: Dupes column not showing after a "Find Dupes" search.
One more thing I can't figure out regarding this. According to the help documentation: Right-clicking the Dupes column when the list is sorted by this column pops a special context menu with two commands for selecting items based on the dupe groups: · Select the First Item in Each Group · Select the...

Move close button to left of tab, so always under the mouse
Here's another small one:
I wish the close button ("X") was on the left side of each tab. That way I could keep clicking in the same location to close multiple tabs. With the button on the right, you have to move your mouse each time, depending on the width of the tab.

These do not work for me. Windows 8.1 64bit, XYplorer 14.60.0208SammaySarkar wrote:Also you can SHIFT+leftClick a folder to open it in new tab. (CTRL+SHIFT+leftClick = open in other pane)

Alternatives to moving files and opening new tabs
I'm sort of blown away by XYplorer so far. Here are the first feature requests that come to mind: I wish there were more flexible ways of moving items, and for creating new tabs in either pane. I'd like to be able to drag a folder or file to a breadcrumb bar item, or to a sub-item under one of its t...

I used TextPad for fifteen years, and just switched over to Sublime Text 3. I wrote a long blog post about it.

How to stop Find files "Search results" tab auto-refreshing?
I'm doing a "Find files" search, and a new "Search results" tab is opened.
Then I switch to another tab, and go back to it, and the search is rerun.
How do I stop this auto-refreshing? I want the already-existing results to stay there.

Re: Dupes column not showing after a "Find Dupes" search.
Yes. Of course. I'm looking for duplicates of audio files that are in the same directory (or potentially a sub-directory), having the same name, except with perhaps "(1)" or "(2)" appended. So they'll have exactly the same content, and the same *beginning* name text. But they'll ...

Re: Dupes column not showing after a "Find Dupes" search.
Oh. Okay. I right clicked on the Dupes tab, it's blue now, and I made the rest of the tabs non-blue. I ran it again, and now there are no results. I tried different combinations of "Applied filters" (whose checkmarks make the corresponding tabs blue), but there are no results no matter wha...

Re: Dupes column not showing after a "Find Dupes" search.
I don't understand. I clicked on [Find now] in the "Find Files > Dupes" panel, and the "Search results" tab popped open. What else do I need to do?
