Re: EXIF Info..
Stefan, thanks a lot for your effort, I really appreciate.. :) Yeah, I just noticed that my simple script above would not preview the file name correctly if I select multiple files. 2011-02-10_030632.gif It would only show up to the dateexif renaming, not the camera model. :( 2011-02-10_030724.gif

Re: EXIF Info..

EXIF Info..
I'm really sorry if this topic has been discussed.. But based on my search, most results are only concern about the date and time.
But what I really want is to rename file based on other EXIF info e.g. camera model.
So, is it possible?
Thank you so much.

Can we make an option for it to search only beneath the current path, not the whole disk?

Re: Copy/Move To Button..
Can we make it that possible with a click of a button? Given that once you pass the second menu (Copy To/etc), it's a multiple choice of destinations so the problem is: how can that be handled by a button? It can't be...thus one is forced to use a list dialog to pick the choice. I have a thought th...

Re: Copy/Move To Button..
Ah ah.. don't forget that you can pull up most of XY's menus via scripting so creating a custom button with the following would show the Move to dialog on left click (#220 = Edit->Move To...) and the destination menu if you right click and select Destination menu (#151 = File->Move/Copy/Backup To->...

Re: Toolbar dropdown flaws
Look at this post: http://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=4785&start=0&hilit=unicode I suspect it's because the editor you use does not save in UTF-16 format. I thought Don had sorted this out, but it looks as if that is not the case. Thanks for the idea. It might be the cause...

Re: Toolbar dropdown flaws
Latest 9.0 is a bit more info but still not saying, whether you're using latest official (v9.00.0000) or latest beta version (v9.00.0010). Well, this shouldn't matter in this case, but being as specific as possible might help with future attempts to help. Using the installer does a couple more thin...

Re: Toolbar dropdown flaws
...and both your installations use the same OS and XY ver? There have been some changes in the way XY is installed by default, in order to solve several problems with Vista/Win7 UAC. So check the relevant topics. (searching for UAC or checking the changelog for the beta versions might help) Re your...
