Re: Like a new feature? Say thanks here

Please, don't take this feature away anymore!!! Regarding the beta-thank, though, the first post in this thread says: This thread is for thanking Donald for specific new beta features you like. Not that I mind beta-thanks - in fact I like it, its nice - but I just wanted to point out what easily get...

FVSVF to accept name of power filter, please

It would be nice if the FVSVF (FolderViewSettings with VisualFilter) would accept the name of a power filter.

This way I could save the name in the FVS and any later changes on the power filter definition would automatically be used by the FVS as well.

Re: Flexibility over Catalog positioning

+1
And not only the catalog should be moveable to the right side of screen, but the treeview also, respectively any combination should be possible, please.

Thx in advance. Good work, Don!!

Re: file-search, auto-refresh and filters

Your right, it sounds a bit negative, doesn't it. I was only trying to be realistic, though. Besides health, there are other things too ... But anyway, never mind my question. I did not want to be negative, bother, alert or startle you nor anyone else. Sorry if I did. And your right again, I complet...

Re: file-search, auto-refresh and filters

This would have almost bee a deal-breaker for me, but I bought it anyway just now, since you said it's planned... But seriousy, I was choosing between XYp and x2 but the last (big and important) pepple that finally made me decide for XYp is the support for overlong filenames (at least I co...

file-search, auto-refresh and filters

Hi,
When I do a file-search and apply a visual filter to the search-results-list then it performs (auto-refreshes?) the whole search again.
Is there a way to apply a filter to the search results without performing the whole search again?
Regards, Stephan

Re: File Managers

Hi, I wrote a whole article but then I had to log in, unfortunatly did a back arrow, because I forgot to sign, and everything was gone.... What I wanted to say, regarding the original thread's topic: I like FreeCommander XE but it is not perfect. It can do simple virtual folders (if you figure out h...
