Thanks very much for the change.

I agree with JustinF, it's pretty cool. What is even cooler though is that yesterday I asked the question and today it's a reality.

Now I can be even lazier! Great work!

Cheers

Right dragging from XY

When I drag a file from Explorer to, say, the desktop using the right mouse button, the context menu gives me the option of creating a shortcut. Sadly, XYplorer does not provide this option, it only offers “move”, “copy” or “cancel”. Could XY be made to do this too? It's just a thought :D Thanks and...

Tabs, the Catalogue and removable drives

I, like a lot of people these days, use removable drives a lot. I use the catalogue feature to allow myself quick access to them. I think that it would be neat if the catalogue automagically updated it’s icons as appropriate when a removable drive (or network connection) is either connected or disco...

Panel area showing up after font dialogue

In XY v500.0032, if I don't have the panel showing and I go to View->Font->Interface and then cancel the dialogue, the area where the panel would normally go shows up grey (there is nothing there just a grey area). It doesn't do this with either the "Tree, List, etc" option or the "Dialogs" option, ...

It looks like this happens only if "Sort folders apart" is turned off in Configuration->Advanced. With this setting turned on, the problem goes away and it behaves as it should.

I can reproduce this at will by doing the following on XYplorer 5.00.0025 on WinXP Pro SP2: Turn off "Resort list immediately after rename". I go to a folder that contains other files. My example folder contatins 13 files on the C: drive. I also tried this on my USB drive with the same results. I cr...

Hi all When renamaing a file within the list view, I like that you can now configure whether the list is sorted automgically or not. However, I think it would be neat if the last renamed file did not lose focus (ie it stayed selected). That would make it easier to see where the file moves to after t...

Edit boxes et al

I'm not sure if this is by design or not, however, the Visual Filter edit box (and probably other edit boxes as well) loses its cursor postion if you switch out of XY and then back again half way through typing something. That is, when you switch back the entire text field is selected which can caus...

Column auto resize

I'm a new user of XYplorer and I find that it fits my needs very well. However, I've found that when I paste a file with a long name into the list view which contains files with shorter names, the column does not automatically resize. I have "Column Width Auto-Adjustment" turned on. Am I missing som...
