Re: Setting PNG as icon for user button shows incorrect imag

That would be too slow. As I mentioned in the change log... Trying to understand, what would cause the slowness 1. Would the non ico formats be converted to ico and then rendered. 2. Large dimensions of images - Possibily we can reuse the thumb cache P.S. This is neither air nor water - I...

Re: Setting PNG as icon for user button shows incorrect imag

I was surprised to see this in change log last night.

Everything Everywhere - Could you add this support to portable file icons as well please.

Re: Tweak: Show Age Limit

I could also see 1y being popular since there's a big enough difference between 366 days and 547 days (if rounding, else 729) that an age of "1 year" isn't quite precise enough. True. Age at times becomes irrelevant if you have lots of file that would end up with the same age. Hence, it would be be...

Re: Scripting: User-Defined Functions

I would suggest the following

The default.inc will only be loaded for one liners (if and only if, the one liner has a non native function.)

Re: Scripting: User-Defined Functions

We can have a default.inc, which is always loaded in RAM. Scripts doesn't need to explicitly include this file. The "include" line is only needed for user-created *.inc other than default.inc. I second this. Also, how can we call UDF's from outside (like AHK) as the include wouldn't work in a...

Re: User Functions Exchange

Is there any default include file which is always loaded? If not, how can we call UDF's from outside (like AHK) as the include wouldn't work in a one liner and without the include statement, the function definition is unknown.

Re: [Script] WhiteSpaceCtxMenu

This is how I do. P.S. This was work in progress. I deleted some stuff which is not relevant here, so there may be some formatting issues "CEA" $main = "Fav Folders;550 | Fav Files;564 | Favorites;_favsFull | - | Drives;526 | Drives+Special;_drivesSpecial | - | All Tabs;690 | Pane Tabs;538" ; if (ge...

Re: [Script] WhiteSpaceCtxMenu

This is how I do it. I define the context menus in a variable and pop it through the SC popupmenu (*may not be the exact SC name). The same method is followed for generic items and in sections where I need the generic + contextual, I concatenate them and pop up the menu. I will post the script (whic...

Re: Match possibility with wildcards - ala reverse like

I think this may be possible using named regex. Any idea. :?:

Match possibility with wildcards - ala reverse like

Not sure if this would be possible. Take below unfinished code (which is partly from the Qwerty) as example to take leverage of the CEA scripting. The pathsExact matching is done in an elegant manner using formatlist as I can pass the list of exact paths and filter the current path. However, for wil...

Re: Detect a right click or modifier key in XY scripting men

Options of plenty doesn't mean that you have to use them all. Let me give some examples where it would fit in bits and pieces The HotList/HitList script - Currently, it gives a menu option to choose goto/copy to /move to - It can be modified to goto the location when nothing is held, copy to when ct...

Re: Detect a right click or modifier key in XY scripting men

Agreed that XY doesn't have bitwise operators and I would love to have them. However; that doesn't mean that the function can't return bit values. Almost all functions return bit values in XY - we don't have to compute what are held as the bit values for the held keys are already known + Scripting g...

Re: checkbox selection behavior

Strange, now even I am unable to drag it following a crash after update for 15.00.003 Don't want to be pushy - but just reiterating giving me the benefit of doubt that you may have missed it. :ninja: Could you please consider, adding an extra item to the sticky selection and related buttons toolbar....

Re: checkbox selection behavior

I was expecting it to be this way 1. Check box selection 2. Sticky selection If both 1 and 2 are enabled it should be new way and if only 1 is enabled, it should be old way. Additionally, a bug - if you have no selections and try to drag something, XY crashes. The bug still exists with new sticky c...
