Re: exists(), the return value is incorrect.

If I see it right, this defaults to the current path, and that is a folder.
(See example "XYplorer.exe"!)

Though I think this default isn't documented very good :ninja:

Re: SetLayout() giving static values

OK: that would be "manual automation" :lol:

Something like Chaplin's "modern times". (I think that was the name, wasn't it?)

By the way: still no idea how to get, (modify and then) set width and/or hight of panes by other means...

Re: SetLayout() giving static values

Hey - at least for the situations I need & have tested it works now! :tup: :appl:

...but only, if you will not delete it :naughty:

Re: SetLayout() giving static values

Hm - I had expected that this command serves to expose the values it returns. But OK: I need these values to "swap" (i.e.exchange) the sizes - be it horizontal or vertical - between pane1 and pane2. (So in the moment I read and then set them by SetLayout() ). Is there any other chance to do so? (Wit...

SetLayout() giving static values

In the last time there were some changes regarding XY's reaction on screen changes. But my problem still exists: I use SetLayout() to get info, especially for Pane1Width and Pane2Width. Basically it works well. But: if I change the width of XY's screen, be it by draging the right edge to the left or...

Re: SC ControlPosition("TB|31")

I meant just that the info returned by controlposition() would've been more precise than the slightly fluctuating get(cursorpos). but it's still fine for what Filehero wants to do. Actually, last night I'd checked with get(cursorpos) and noticed the small differences, didn't think much of that, and...

Re: can "input" resolve a variable

Shorter for eval($s) is *$s

But look out: in both cases $s should contain a valid variable name!

Edit: replaced must by should :whistle:

Re: SC ControlPosition("TB|31")

Thanks for these ideas :D I have a CTB-called script, itself calling PopUpNested() - after quite some calculation. So if moving the cursor after clicking, before P.U.Nested runs, it opens just "somewhere else". Further the Button is rather on the right side, so when opening nested levels of the menu...

Same for single quotes :(

While $a = "<<<"; is OK.

Strange :shock:

Re: PSPad Syntax Highlighting

Hallo Ralph, Response from the other side of the world :-) You are right with "find some documentation" - that's a big part of my problem, too. Often you simply must test... ...and I must say: the syntax of XY doesn't really fit the abilities of PSPad highlighting :cry: So I think I'll continue with...

Re: Website and Help Typos

I see the problem that when just looking to the Operators column, you see + and - and expect you know what's meant. (Everybody knows + and -!) Only a look for Additional Information brings you to understand, that not + -, but "Unary + -" is meant. I think this basic info belongs to the Operator colu...

"Operator Precedence", Compound Operators

For Compound Operators your interpretation and realization is different from mine. => I'd expect the added operand of these Operators "as an addition to the '='", so that this operand is to execute very last, together with the '='. That is: $a *= expression; should always be $a = $a * (expression); ...
