Whoa, really?

Gah, I was planning to shift a lot of my icon directories into libraries!

Now I need to step back and reconsider this, bah!

Thanks for the info.

Re: Using DLLs for Iconized Tabs

NVM, that actually just used the icon of the directory.

Any help would be appreciated (I promise, I am not spamming the thread!)

Re: Using DLLs for Iconized Tabs

Gah, of course I think of the correct answer as soon as I post.

For documentation sake, apparently you need "s around the location even if there aren't spaces in the location.

E.G.

Program Files|"D:\Users\Common\Libraries\RootMenus.dll" /3

Using DLLs for Iconized Tabs

Greetings, I am trying to use icons from a DLL file for an icon on an iconized tab. I found this thread that doesn't seem to work for this task: https://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic.php?t=8438 it suggests putting "/#" (e.g. /3) for the position of the icon in the DLL. That doesn't seem ...

Open XYplorer shortcut with a different profile

Greetings, I feel like I must be crazy for not being able to find a topic on this. I'm trying to make different Xyplorer shortcuts that open with a different profile similar to what you can do with a chromium based browser For instance: The "user-data-directory" contains 1 or more "pr...

User Script to Open "Edit Names" Prompt?

Greetings,

I'm trying to find a way to use a user script to open the "Rename Special -> Edit Item Names" prompt. Is there a way to do that?

Thanks.

Re: Is there a script that can remove after phrase

You'd better read the help file^^ foreach($item, <get selecteditemspathnames>, <crlf>, "e") { $newName = replace(gpc($item, "base"), "2021", "[2021] [] [1080p] [H265]"); $newName = regexreplace($newName, "^(.*\[h265\])(.*?)$", "$1"); renam...

Re: Is there a script that can remove after phrase

@Highend So, perhaps one more question. Now I'm taking the script you made and trying to add in additional commands and it seems to keep looping on the first one then break on the second, so, I know I broke something. Here's my example: foreach($item, <get selecteditemspathnames>, <crlf>, "e&qu...

Re: Is there a script that can remove after phrase

Of course a script can be arbitrary named. Also you didn't ask for more than one entry and so the script doesn't contain a loop for any selections. I think you should now spend some time to read the help about scripting in XY and look around in the many examples in this forum. You're asking someone...

Re: Any better ideas for speeding up Network Browsing?

Does it help if you turn off Configuration | General | Tree and List | Tree | Check existence of subfolders in tree and what happens in a fresh instance? For the record, I checked in a fresh instance already and it was crawling how it was before I started tinkering --- which wasn't BAD, but it coul...

Re: Any better ideas for speeding up Network Browsing?

Actually, scratch Unchecking "Pre-check availability of servers" seems to resolve the issue. I figured that would be 'one pre-check', not 'pre-check' everytime I go to a server location. Additionally, for reasons unknown, actual network URLs work better then Network Shared Drive Locations.

Re: Any better ideas for speeding up Network Browsing?

I just timed it to give a little better perspective.

At current, it takes 120 seconds to move from one directory to another. Going back to a previous directory does not help speed.
