Lock Location is unreliable
I have locked a folder (D:\download in my case). I create a subfolder under the locked folder. When I open the subfolder, most of the time, it opens a new tab. But once a week or so, the subfolder is opened in the locked tab and the subfolder is locked. When I go back to the main folder, it opens a ...

Re: Reanme of all files in a folder is unreliable
Here are 2 screenshots using v22.30.0100 I deleted a few files in one directory and I wanted to rename so that the remaining files are in a sequence. Notice that the file Alpenglow-17 should really changed to Alpenglow-13 but it didnt. See attached screenshot 1. During renaming, some numbers are ski...

some basic functions take unusually long time
I installed XYPlorer in a brand new Lenovo laptop - 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD. Windows 11.
Sometimes, basic functions such as renaming a file, open a folder or open a text file take 10-12 seconds. Task Manager shows CPU, disk, and memory usages are very small.
I can live with it but curious.

Re: Reanme of all files in a folder is unreliable
sorry. just saw your reply. very sloppy of me. Just create a folder and fill it with 200 random jpg images and then do a batch rename of all the files in that folder.

Reanme of all files in a folder is unreliable
I selected all the files in a folder and right clicked on Rename and the numbering was not contiguous. This happens when new files are added to an already renamed files and I renamed all the files (old and newly added). I have to run rename 2-3 times to get all the files renamed correctly.
