XYPlorer taking about 14 seconds to load. Logs inside.
Hi, I'm finding that XYPlorer is taking about 14 second to load up. My system is Win 10 on a fairly new laptop, i7 9th gen @ 2.60GHz. M2 and Sata SSDs. Based on another post, I got the load times listing below. Can anyone shed light on why mine is so slow starting up? One thing I noticed is that it ...

Re: Please add "Cycle tabs in recently-used order"
Not irritated, just baffled. :) Yep, tried cycle backwards, same thing happens when changing tabs with the mouse as described above. The impression I got was that XY sometimes doesn't update its "queue" of last viewed tabs when using the mouse. It's not a big deal, just works weirdly here ...

Re: Context menu right-click on folder background
Interesting! Thanks, I'll check that out.
The link to the ShellContextMenu.ahk script there is dead, but I found a working one here: https://autohotkey.com/board/topic/8928 ... text-menu/

Re: Context menu right-click on folder background
You can't have both together (64-bit context menu + the tweak) atm. Fair enough, thanks. However I haven't been able to get the windows "New" menu working there at all - only the XY "New" items. Is there a particular combination of settings which will get XY to show that normal ...

Context menu right-click on folder background
I found a lot of posts about right-clicking folder items, but not about right-clicking the folder background... Is there a way of showing the normal Windows context menu when right-clicking the *background* of a file list? It seems that XYplorer completely replaces that context menu, so I'm missing ...

Re: Please add "Cycle tabs in recently-used order"
Ah, I think what you want is the function "Cycle Tabs Backward" (Ctrl+Shift+Tab). If you prefer it that way you can assign Ctrl+Tab to this function via Tools | Customize Keyboard Shortcuts... (Shift+F9) . Ok tried that, but as expected it did not perform as I expected. :) I don't know, t...

Re: A script for MRU tabbing order.
you have written code for xyplorer in autohotkey . that is why i have asked my question. i have no intention to start autohotkey forum in xyplorer forum. you have written the script in autohotkey instead of xyplorer script, that is why i have asked. No, the script I posted above was an XYplorer scr...

Re: A script for MRU tabbing order.
1. You should start a new topic when... starting a new topic.
2. This isn't an autohotkey forum. Try posting your question here: https://www.autohotkey.com/boards/

Re: Please add "Cycle tabs in recently-used order"
Are you expecting that it does 3-2-3-2-3-2-1 or so? Well, that is not the way it is implemented. Each tab can only have one certain position in the memorized order. No, if you see the gif above, it just didn't seem to "remember" the last viewed tab. In the gif, I'm clicking a couple of ta...

Please add an "Apply" button to Configuration modal.
When fiddling with visual adjustments, like colours, it would be really handly to be able to click "Apply" to see how they look, while keeping the Configuration window open, to continue making adjustments.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Please add "Cycle tabs in recently-used order"
FYI I've made a script which implements an MRU tabbing scheme, with the help of AutoHotkey.

It's not perfect, but I'll update it with improvements when I have time.

A script for MRU tabbing order.
Note: You need to use AutoHotkey with this script, to monitor Ctrl+Tab keypresses and send the right hotkeys to XYplorer. This script keeps a list of the most recently viewed tabs, and allows you to cycle through them in "MRU order", in similar fashion to Visual Studio or Notepad++ tabs. S...

Re: +++ BREAKING NEWS: XY Switches Programming Language +++
Request! Please ensure the new version is AutoHotkey-compatible! :) Currently, I'm finding it really handy to automate some things in XY using AutoHotkey (e.g. this one I posted on MRU tabbing ). This is possible because XY uses standard Windows controls in the UI which AutoHotkey can detect. For ex...
