Re: Windows Set File Associations Ignored?

How do I use this file association tool to open up an AutoCAD file that first looks to see if the program is already open. I've copied my shortcut target to the Tools>File Associations and added DWG>"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2025\acad.exe" /ld "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoC...

Setttings will not hold

For some reason, the setting for one of my computers will not hold. Though I load, save, close, when I reopen, the color theme and various aspects of navigation display will not stay per my loaded setting file. Any ideas how to deal with this?

Re: Keep current tab sort order in history

I'd like one folder or one set of folders to be ordered by date, always, between sessions. Is this possible?

Shortcuts to mapped drive are opening via network path instead

Our users have mapped drives to shared user folders that are synced with dropbox on the same machine. (weird, I know). When creating shortcuts with the mapped drive on one machine and opening on another. the second machine tries to use the network path back to the first machines shared folder. This ...

Re: Startup very slow

You are in MiniTree mode in the screenshot, does the issue also occur when you are in normal mode? So Sorry for delay. Yes...this still occurs regardless of mini tri mode being on or off. This is still very confusing, since this has worked purrrrrfectly in the past on the same machine with same eve...

Re: Startup very slow

While i could understand that, i nearly never have more than 50% cpu or memory or disk writing when the slowness happens. Sure, i have dropbox going with a rather large sync index, and i also use x1 search. both of those can be heavy at times. However, the slowness doesn't seem to correlate. And cer...

Re: Startup very slow

Wasn't sure if i should start a new thread, or use the same. After i was able to resolve the slow start....i have now begun to encounter very slow use after startup. Many times, switching from folder to folder will incur several seconds of delay. During those times, if i use windows explorer, that d...

Awesome. Thank you.
Now, is there also a way to keep the shortcuts that were assigned to those commands?
