Re: Where are links stored

Thanks @jupe. I hadn't seen those settings there either.

I tried that...and my links folder is not updated. Other settings came over without issue.

Re: Where are links stored

I'm not clear why, but I am taking all the files from user folder(C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Roaming\XYplorer) and copying them to my other computer. I've tried to exit without saving, and simply copying in windows explorer without xyplorer running. Neither has worked on this occasion. Any further sugge...

Woah is me. You'd think I could remember my own posts. Sorry for the extra pings and missing the link you gave me above. I'll go revisit all that.

Thank you.

Where are links stored

where are links stored.

Is there a way to copy every setting from one computer and transfer to another? The settings file alone doens't do the trick.

Re: Simlink on Shared Drive

what is Mh?

I've been searching long and hard for how to map a shared folder without symbolic links. I just cannot figure out how that is occurring on this one machine but not 8 others. Some off setting somewhere I suppose in windows.

Re: Simlink on Shared Drive

incidentally, I have the same exact setup on a few computers, but none of them say symlink when accessing the folder through the mapped folder. All of my mapped locations on this particular computer to several local folders show symlink. Again, no other computers do this but I use the same setup. No...

Re: Simlink on Shared Drive

Sorry...by programs folder, I meant a folder that I store all programs downloaded or copied from a CD. That point doesn't really matter, except that I have several executables and I can open any other file types without issue on that mapped drive except the executables. When I go to the mapped(origi...

Simlink on Shared Drive

I have a folder on local computer shared and mapped as a drive. It is my programs folder, so lots of exe files. When I try to run an exe from the mapped location from xyplorer, I get not accessible, yet all other sub folders and files can open without a problem. I notice that within the mapped drive...

Re: Open Multiple File Shortcuts at Once

When you select multiple normal non lnk files and press Enter does it open them all in that circumstance? Try that tweak anyway, then retry with Enter. Anyway, here is a very basic bare bones script that should work on selected files if "File | Open Selected Item(s)" doesn't either. forea...
