I got it to work by selecting a grid color. I think I was looking for "alternate row color" or something more clearly stated. "Grid" did not catch my eye as what I was looking for, even though it was.

Yes. In my version they are numbered 1-5. I have selected 1.

Show Grid was already set. Still no alternating rows and no way to select the color.

In years past I remember this was so easy, it was right there to select the alternating color.

Yes, tried that. I cannot see any way to set the alternating row color:

For many, many years I have enjoyed "green bar" colors, that is, every other line in the file list a light green.

I do remember the setting was front and center and easy to find. However now in the latest version (23) I cannot locate where to set the alternating color.

Reset tree brought the new items to life.

Just installed 16.50.0200 but cannot see Downloads and Links even though I have them turned ON in Configuration and Optimize Tree is OFF.

Well, I ended up creating a custom toolbar button that runs command #264 (Edit | Search Templates). Clicking this after performing a search allows for saving the current search as a template, with or without results.

It's the closest thing to approximate "Save Search..."
