Re: +++ BREAKING NEWS: XYplorer goes twinBASIC +++
This is exciting news. I have been amazed by the author's ability to milk VB6 this long--and not merely keep XYplorer working, but improving it nearly every single week for a very long time. Kudos, sir! One thing I have really enjoyed about the current deployment scheme is that the entire applicatio...

Re: XYplorer of TabManagement
Looks like this is for Chrome-based browsers only, but I like the concept.

Re: How to overwrite all existing files without a popup for each one?
It took me awhile to get back to this, and to be honest, I cannot reproduce it. I should have written down the details of what I was trying. Anyway, trying version 26.00.0002, I have not been able to reproduce the issue. If I stumble into it again, I will follow up here.

Re: How to overwrite all existing files without a popup for each one?
Great info in the previous two posts--thank you very much! I will check into these when I get a little more time, and report back my findings.

Re: How to overwrite all existing files without a popup for each one?
I selected a group of files and directories from a file explorer window, hit Ctrl-C, then started a Paste operation in a Xyplorer pane where older versions of a lot of those files already existed. Every time a previously existing one was found, that dialog box appears. I am wondering if there is a w...

How to overwrite all existing files without a popup for each one?
When I copy a group of files and directories from elsewhere and drop them onto a directory in Xyplorer, I get the "Overwrite Existing Item?" dialog box, but there is no way to tell Xyplorer to overwrite all from then on. I searched here in the forums, and in the configuration options, but ...

I like "The Glider", or "Tool Glider", or "Tool Flyer"--but "The Glider" most of all.
Great idea, by the way!

Re: +++ BREAKING NEWS: XY Switches Programming Language +++
I have not read every post in this thread but did see at least one that was less than friendly. I applaud you for the effort, and want to say that I really enjoy XYplorer in its current state. Once in awhile over my programming career I have thought "I could make one of those programs that does...

Re: XYPlorer Fails to Open on Top of Other Windows Occasionally
I just assumed (maybe wrongly?) that this was because XYPlorer was not at the top of the Z-order when it was closed. (Often, XYPlorer is only closed for me when I reboot or log off.) I thought, "How smart of it to keep track of that."

Re: Most readable font
I use Verdana 8.4 for the main contents font. However, over the years I have come to realize that hardware and relevant software make a huge difference in how a font looks to your eyes. I have been frustrated many times when finding a programming font I love in one application or on one machine, onl...

Re: Yet another "Wow" for XY
That's cool. I, too, have been using Xyplorer for a few years and I know there is a pile of useful features I have not encountered yet. Maybe the current lockdown situation will be a good time to read over the feature list and go back through the "What's New in This Version" posts.
