Re: XY64ctxmenu.exe - Could not close the previous instance of this script. Keep waiting?
I don't use XYplorer anymore. I also got a new computer with a fresh install of Windows so whatever caused the issue in XYplorer won't exist anymore.

Re: XY64ctxmenu.exe - Could not close the previous instance of this script. Keep waiting?
I went with another file manager then I went from Windows 10 and Windows 11. I got tired of this annoying behavior. My guess is that with some computers, the file explorer shell extensions get too many, entangled, or something and this becomes an issue with XYplorer. I have deleted some shell extens...

IOBit Unlocker not showing in context menu
IOBit Unlocker shows in File Explorer's context menu when right clicking on a folder name but it's missing in XYPlorer.

Re: Stop showing this message every 2-3 seconds. "Could not close the previous instance of this script Keep waiting?"
The message appears because it's taking more time to show the context menu. While there might be reasons for it, that's not the problem I am concerned with. It's the damn message popping very frequently. I can live with the menu showing after 30 seconds. I can simply switch to another app and be bus...

Re: Stop showing this message every 2-3 seconds. "Could not close the previous instance of this script Keep waiting?"
I find it odd people are concentrating on my extensions which the developer has no control over, instead of the prompt which the developer can change. The prompt is a consequence of a process that's waiting for something to happen. Whether there are bad extensions or not is beside the point. A bad e...

Re: Stop showing this message every 2-3 seconds. "Could not close the previous instance of this script Keep waiting?"
I can wait or I can switch to do something else for a few seconds and come back to File Explorer. With XYPlorer I have to babysit the thing and click every 2 seconds. don't babysit, do smth else for few seconds and come back later. I don't get why you're arguing about this and not seeing the ...

Re: Stop showing this message every 2-3 seconds. "Could not close the previous instance of this script Keep waiting?"
At least File Explorer doesn't prompt at all. I can wait or I can switch to do something else for a few seconds and come back to File Explorer. I amnot constantly interrupted. With XYPlorer I have to babysit the thing and click every 2 seconds. I don't get why you're arguing about this and not seein...

Re: Stop showing this message every 2-3 seconds. "Could not close the previous instance of this script Keep waiting?"
Who told you I have crappy extensions!? The extensions I have are from reputable apps. Why don't you be a good citizen and extend the period when this same prompt shows up. Any prompt that repeatedly shows every 2 seconds from ANY app is annoying. BTW, I mentioned this issue several months ago. Noth...

Re: Stop showing this message every 2-3 seconds. "Could not close the previous instance of this script Keep waiting?"
All I do is right click on a folder to get the context menu. A regular subfolder from a folder off root. Actually it doesn't matter which folder. So it happens sometimes with Fole Explorer too. I think it's related to File Explorer shell extensions. Maybe their number. I already deleted a bunch of t...

Stop showing this message every 2-3 seconds. "Could not close the previous instance of this script Keep waiting?"
Stop showing this message every 2-3 seconds. "Could not close the previous instance of this script". When I click Yes, just wait till things clear out. Why make me click it every 2-2 seconds. It's too frequent and annoying. The hang eventually clears up so just let it take its time. Or mak...

Put an easy to find a download link to the old versions
Put an easy to find a download link to the old versions. It's not in the download section. It's not in the FAQ. I couldn't find it by searching 'old version' in the forums. I had to Google it to be aware of some freezer page!

I was talking about the status footer. The hoverbox footer is fine. I didn't notice it.
