Re: xyplorer crashes unexpectedly

The no-error-message is the same behavior (of this issue) as before, so I'm not surprised.

EDIT: the win10 version is 22H2.

Re: xyplorer crashes unexpectedly

I haven't got time to investigate more (incl. using a clean portable version to test). xyplorer has been working well since then till just now. Here is how it crashed and hope this can help a little bit. But note that it's still not a clean portable setup.. The crash happened just now look like this...

Re: inconsistent selection style (length)

I'm using my own laptop but the device as well as the xyplorer config is different, so I cannot reproduce it right now. Will check it out on Monday when I have time. Thanks!

inconsistent selection style (length)

As the attached gif shows, the length of the selection is not consistent:
- For green-colored new files, it's a little shorter;
- For transparent old files, it's longer than the column.

Re: xyplorer crashes unexpectedly

Do you mean using a default (portable) xyplorer without any customization to see if it still happens?

xyplorer crashes unexpectedly

I know that the description in the title is vague. I tried to gather for information to help debug (as well as waiting for a possible fix) but failed, so I'm just raising the issue here. The issue looks like this: - I'm doing normal operations, like creating a new folder, copying some files, renamin...

Re: always asks to select app to open a png image

It is a known issue without a definite solution on the system side AFAIK. However, an easy solution is to set up a default CFA in XY to catch all images and open them with Irfanview as shown in the image below: PicPick_632.jpgThis is for the regular installed version of Irfanview, I'm not sure abou...

always asks to select app to open a png image

It's a strange issue: - win 10 x64 21H1 19043.1348, have irfanview 4.58 x 64 win store version installed and set as default pic viewer; - double click a png file in default explorer, it automatically opens in irfanview (as it's the default app); - double click a png file in xyplorer, it always asks ...

Re: No support \\wsl$

(1) Opening a new explorer window, wsl$ doesn't appear in network, but after manually accessing \\wsl$, it appears (only in the tree);
(2) ticking that makes it work fine :)

Thank you for your help!
