There's no checkbox to disable "permanent startup path". So, how is the problem solved?

I would like to be able to restore the last session when restarting XYplorer. Apparently, this obvious behavior is currently not possible since the active tab is replaced by the "permanent startup path", thus causing the last session not to be restored.

Without mini-table enabled, the Rapid Access folder is visible. With mini-tree enabled, the Rapid Access folder disappears.

I would like the new Rapid Access folder to stay visible while in Mini-Tree mode.

The main reason I don't like the new icon is that the letters XY occupy too small of the region of the icon. It would be much better if the XY were larger.

Today when I started using XYplorer, almost all folder and file icons had gone blank. They are all white. As far as I know, I didn't change anything. Exceptions are special folder like Dropbox, Downloads, and OneDrive that do display their normal icon.

I have been able to confirm that disabling the Preview Windows eliminates the problem. XYplorer doesn't become unresponsive and stuck in an infinite loop if I disable the previewer and then copy an MS Word file. To me it looks like the bug is related to the previewer.
