These are simple text files, I was assuming I could iter through a list using a script and write with the append option, not sure how at this time.
But just wanted to make sure that the functionality didn't already exist.
Thanks, Tim

Concatenate files.
I have a process that that generates a daily file for me. And I would like a quick and simple way to select a handful of these daily files and concatenate them into one file, however leaving the original file alone. Basicaly a join command over multiple files and preferable in the order I select the...

Folder Copy w/sub levels.
I was able to do a folder only copy, but it did not build the sub folders in that folder, is there a way to tell XY to copy these folders and any subfolders, but not the actual files in the folders.
Thanks, Tim

Manual Sorting - additional location.
When I right-click on a file list, 'the context menu' has a 'sort by' area.
Would it be possible to add 'manual sorting' in the area where you you have 'unsorted' or 'Random order'?
Thanks, tim

Favorite Folders via Toolbar
When using favorite folders, and selecting a Disconnected Mapped Drive Folder, it will fail to connect.
But if I click on the drive letter from the tree, it will request my user ID and password, and then if I use favorite folders will work correctly.

Catalog via a drop down toolbar item
It would be nice, if I decided to 'not show' the catalog, but allow a 'star type icon' on the toolbar, to list all my catalog items and pick them from there... The catalog function eats up too much of my directory tree for all the quick launch programs I have there. Favorite programs to run, would b...

Re: Bulk Copy with Rename.
I'm going to use the same function for all my digital camera pictures... I have a ton of folders, and a lot of my pictures are duplicates, that I have made before... I plan on using this copy to move all my pictures into one folder, and then run a 'duplicate file tool' against it... delete all dupli...

Bulk Copy with Rename.
I have a whole bunch of reports, with the extension .rpt in about 15 folders, so I wanted to COPY them into one folder for archival purposes... So I ran a find files (include sub folder), with .rpt, and created my list, I then selected them, and told it to copy them into a destination folder. But be...

Column #'ing
In the 'Raw View' there are options for Hex,wrap and Line #. What would be kinda cool, is a 'column #'. I work a lot with flat files, and where the data starts and stops, in the columns is important to me, if there was a way to visually show by alternating the colors for each column, with # on the t...

Visual Filters
Is there a way to specify file size and date in a visual filter?
I know I can use the 'auto sync' and then find my files... But I was wondering if a filter could be setup...
When I drop into a folder, I would like to see files >10mb and 90 days old....
thanks, tim

Re: Schedule script to run.
For an example it would be nice to automate the delete of files older than 10 days in a folder based on a filter.
Without having to run it manually.

Re: How to: Retrieve the Number of Days Old a file is.
I thank you for both, but If I could pick between admin's way or qwerty's way... I would go with Admin's way... But since that function does not exist (yet). I would have to go the really long way, unless the other function just happens to show up.
