No Date Picker for Info_Panel > Properties_Tab > Time-stamping

Documentation says: Time-stamping Clicking any of the three file times on Properties tab will activate the interface to actually set those times to the currently selected file(s). Note that you can call the Date Picker by pressing F1 inside those text boxes However pressing F1 when editing the field...

Re: Allow File Associations to work on *Folders* (no .extension)

If you drop the quotes off the <item1> and <item2> then you get problems if the paths contain blanks. ... OK I can see that would produce problems. I would use this way (clipboard instead of item2): Code: |\>"C:\Programme\WinMerge\WinMergeU.exe" "<item1>" "<clipboard>"...

Re: Allow File Associations to work on *Folders* (no .extension)

1. We are talking about UDC, not PFA, right? 2. Are you using the last version of XY?? 1. No I haven't come to grips with UDC yet, I am still playing with entries in PFA. The complete entry that I tried which didn't work was: |"WinMerge"\;*>"..\WinMergePortable\WinMergePortable.exe&q...

Re: Allow File Associations to work on *Folders* (no .extension)

Mine works fine with the quotes. Dunno... anyway, if it works it works. :) Mine definitely does'nt! If I put the quotes around as in "<item1>" "<item2>" then it doesn't even find the application "..\WinMergePortable\WinMergePortable.exe" which plain as daylight is ther...

Re: Allow File Associations to work on *Folders* (no .extension)

Amazing - Got all these things working!!! Thanks heaps for the incredibly quick and useful guidance. This has to be a record for any application ever! By the way I think your quotes around items <item1> and <item2> however are misleading - it doesn't seem to want them although it definitely does wan...

Re: Hide Empty

I would like to second this request. The problem typically arises when one plugs in a universal card reader type device. The larger sizes of Dell screens come with memory card reader sockets down the left side of them. When the USB cable from such a screen (or a portable card reader such as a Belkin...

Allow File Associations to work on *Folders* (no .extension)

Maybe there is some way of doing this already - if so I would very much appreciate being enlightened. I purchased XYplorer almost exclusively for its portable file associations capability as I operate almost entirely from a portable drive these days with all my applications on it. What I often want ...

Re: Please Support MP3 USB-drives!

You are right - it is not given a drive letter. I think I must have been mistaken about that. But on the computer I am using at present it also does not offer to "format" the device. So something is quite different between this computer and the one I ran it on previously while testing it -...

Please Support MP3 USB-drives!

Recently I purchased a wonderful little MP3 player from Sandisk (Sansa Express) that has a socket for a MicroSD card - which if fitted with an 8 or 16GB MicroSD card makes a great little portable applications drive big enough for all the portable software, email, etc that have ever wanted to carry a...
