Re: Bring back Classic Visual Basic
I'm a big fan of PureBasic, though I don't do much coding these days. It does create very small and fast executables, the compiler converts the Basic code to assembly language then compiles it. It has some nice features like not needing Windows APIs to be declared before using them, and of course ha...

Re: Fix for 64bit Explorer Context Menu in XYplorer
This is a good workaround, thanks for posting the instructions. It means I can use XY again with Win 7 64-bit. I need my context menu! :) Is it possible to have this more closely integrated into XY though? It's clunky having to use so many mouse clicks to get to the 64-bit menu. Ideally it would be ...

Re: Default path for new tabs
Did you try it without quotes? I've set my permanent startup path to "My Computer" and it's in the ini file as StartPathPerm=My ComputerTheQwerty wrote:Hmm.. That doesn't work here, but I'm glad it's working for you.rgs wrote:Turns out the path for "My Computer" is "My Computer"

Re: Default path for new tabs
Well that worked nicely, thanks.
Turns out the path for "My Computer" is "My Computer"
Next question, is it possible to open the new tab with all folders in the tree collapsed and only drive letters showing?

Default path for new tabs
Is it possible to set a default path for new tabs?
Currently a new tab will open with the same path as the current tab, but I would prefer each new tab to open in My Computer.
