Re: Windows 7 file dialogs are modal
I've just noticed the problem seems related to putting the file on the clipboard initially, rather than the resultant move/copy operation. If you copy a file in XYplorer and then paste it in regular windows explorer, you will experience the focus locking in windows explorer instead.

Not symptomatic of WOW64 redirection, or anything like that? That's the only other thing that immediately comes to mind for me

Windows 7 file dialogs are modal
Hi all I can't find evidence of this being posted elsewhere (which is wierd and makes me think this must be my problem alone)... but file copy dialogs under Windows 7 Ultimate x64 always steal focus from the main XYplorer program, which is incredibly annoying when you're copying large files. This oc...

Re: XYplorer crashes when right clicking on list / tree items
Yeah that's what I figured... I've managed to fix it now (not ENTIRELY sure how ) - think it may have been a missing script file that did it.
Either that or the simple act of turning the computer off and forgetting about it for a day.

XYplorer crashes when right clicking on list / tree items
Title says it all. I just upgraded to 8.8 and it started happening. Anyone else encountered the same problem before? Could be a configuration issue, but I'm not sure.

Re: Icon Overlays and TortoiseSVN 1.5
setting status cache to shell is really not an option as this breaks recursive icon overlay updating from tortoise and thus cripples it slightly, as said.. As to installing both versions, this works for now - but we all know it's just a workaround. It means having two tortoiseSVNcache processes open...

Re: Not such a good app for Win 7 tablet
actually, the list and tree are mostly fine when you make them bigger. it's the menus and things that make life difficult. Perhaps it's just a case of making the icon size for details+icon view larger when no thumbnail can be created?

Not such a good app for Win 7 tablet
... but it really should be! The UI is really just not geared to a touchscreen laptop at present, but really most of that is just because everything is forcibly so small. Maybe it's not something so many people would care about, but I figure a base set of improvements to make it useable wouldn't tak...
