Re: +++ BREAKING NEWS: XY Switches Programming Language +++

Sorry, kinook, but any product, open or closed source, is going to have to go a looooooong way to get anywhere near close to XYPlorer. It's just a fact! To each his own. XY will never be native 64-bit or cross-platform as long as it's VB6. DoubleCommander is the next closest thing with both of thos...

Re: Calculate the size of folders in the background.

If you could do the same for custom columns (i.e., Special Property -> Version -- viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5029&p=133641#p133639), it might bring me back from Double Commander. Thanks.

Re: XYplorer freezes the system if idly left open for half a day

I don't have AV installed. I will try checking the other option (I had it checked, but also had only in network locations checked).

Re: XYp hangs and then freezes computer

I believe I have been experiencing this for a while now too. I had previously chalked it up to a bad video card, thinking it had something to do with unlocking from screen saver/sleep, but I now realize that it was a similar behavior of the system becoming non-responsive shortly after activating XY....

Re: Please implement a native 64 bit version

+1 for a native 64-bit edition. In addition to the above, this would allow 1) Native 64-bit context menu. XY's 64-bit menu is a) noticeably slower to display than the 32-bit one and b) focus leaves the XY main window and goes to the menu, presumably because it's implemented in a separate process. 2)...

Troubleshoot compatibility not working

Windows 10, XY 17.90.01. When right-clicking on an EXE, there is a 'Troubleshoot compatibility' option on the context menu. Clicking this menu item does nothing in XY. I have to use Windows Explorer to open the Program Compatibility Troubleshooter. I don't need this often, but I dislike having to ev...
