Re: Cannot PREVIEW pdf files with Nitro
That is the default Windows File Associations that says Chrome HTML Document, so you need to change the default Windows Association via Thanks Yah, I figured that out. Still a bit of an issue because with both the 32 bit and 64 bit apps installed MS can't preview the pdfs in File Explorer. Oh well,...

Re: Cannot PREVIEW pdf files with Nitro
As things are currently you can still use Foxit PDF preview handler and just use Nitro as the application to open PDFs, if you wanted. Just set the preview handler with ShellExView by Nirsoft (search forum for instructions) or you could alternatively set just the preview handler via UDPH https://ww...

Re: dark theme
How did you achieve this look? Is it an actual screen shot or photoshop? It's an actual screenshot. I'm using Windows 8.1 with the Penumbra custom theme. Then it's just the list and tree background colors changed to match the theme. Windows 10 has a Dark mode and that is set on my PC, but it isn't ...

Cannot PREVIEW pdf files with Nitro
XYplorer cannot preview PDF files using Nitro 12. The files preview without issue using File Explorer. If I change to Foxit PDF viewer then XYplorer can preview the files.
Why would XY not be able to use Nitro but can use Foxit?

Re: Prevent Lock Home from navigating out of the Home Tree
That sounds like "Lock Home Zone", you can paste the following into the XY address bar for more information if you are interested: ::help "idh_menview.htm#idh_lockhomezone"; Weird and wonderful - that's what I had set, but when I tried it previously XYplorer would allow navigati...

Re: Problem viewing PDF in the preview pane
Install the free version of PDF-XChange-Viewer (the EXE (32/64 bit) installer selectable from the dropdown download button) from here: https://www.tracker-software.com/product/pdf-xchange-viewer If the preview still shouldn't work afterwards, provide the infos that were already asked in this thread...

Re: dark theme
Some parts of the UI is just dependent on the OS theme. I think that may be a limitation of VB6. It's not WPF or anything. But with the dark OS theme, you can get a pretty decent looking dark theme going: https://i.imgur.com/HqrwJJb.png How did you achieve this look? Is it an actual screen shot or ...

Prevent Lock Home from navigating out of the Home Tree
I would like a cross between Lock Home and Lock Location. I want to the tab to always stay in the Home folder tree, no navigation outside of the tree.
I looked for a setting to do this but couldn't find one.
